Tips and Tricks #6
Posted by Catarino,
Hi everyone, Tiago here with yet another Tips and Tricks!
Today, iconic builds for everybody's lawns, cities, and wilderness needs. As always with needed parts and video instructions.
Lawn Mower
A classic for every LEGO House. It wasn't easy to get this one right, but in the end an acceptable solution was found for a challenge I've given myself.
Dumpster
Every Hollywood movie with dark alleys has these dumpsters, so here it is for your LEGO Cities. No bodies inside please...
Tent
One of the builds that didn't work out at the first try, but made its comeback, so I can do some MOC's in the forest now. Who likes camping? I actually don't, ahah
Until next time and don't forget, Build Something Fun Today!

*immediately pops a minifigure inside the dumpster*
@Catarino in the first image with all three, the dumpster’s slopes are a different colour to the singular picture?
The tent is great, my mind immediately repurposed a dozen of them as Imperial road blocks, tank traps/obstacles or a Stormtrooper stockade. Lose the campfire and sleeping bags obviously!
Since Rogue One any funky Orange Lego assemblies are now by default Imperial accessories! The root of this tangental thinking being the crystal/weapons carriers on the back of the Hovertanks.
I do like camping... I think that tent is neat! And I love Lego orange anyway...
One thing I always enjoy about Tiago's builds is that they are always well-scaled to Minifigures. Something that is not easily done, so, well done again sir!

I built my own dumpster and I usually have Rocket poking his head out.

Nope, color correction might have messed it up!

Ok, that might explain it. Either that or I'm colourblind!
My favorite one yet
I can't believe how many different Lego lawn mowers I have now yet my real lawn needs to be mowed.
I'm a bit biased, but I quite like my LEGO Dumpster Fire version inspired by Mixels - TrashOZ:

Tonight on CSI: Brickville...
I really like the tent. It makes me want to create a Campsite with several in different colors.

I was just thinking that a minifigure body wouldn't fit.
Not whole, at least...
Come on! Who desn't like camping?!?!?! Awesome tent by the way! Can we have more tent designs pretty please?????
(Coincidentally I am building a Napoleonic military camp these days and I was searching for a nice and not too part intensive tent design to use).
Sweety, especially THE Dumpster
