Tips and Tricks #14

Posted by ,

Hello everybody, Tiago here with yet another Tips and Tricks!

Today, let's relax with a few builds that will give you, or your minifigures, some peace of mind!

Jukebox

Maybe you're into music and that's your thing.

Back in the day our folks had these guys to help set the mood! A colorful little build to give some life to your retro themed builds?

Aquarium

I've had aquariums myself so this was a fun one to do. Space is limited and LEGO Fishes are big, but at least this aquarium can hold two, and some plants, contrary to most LEGO aquariums you'll see!

I used to look at my fishes swim away and it was nice. Now I want a real one again...

Jacuzzi

Never tried this more than once or twice in my life so I still don't get it! But it feels nice I guess, so our minifigs should have the chance themselves right?

The LEGO world can be stressful at times!

The jacuzzi certainly looks relaxing. I never thought I'd say this but I wish I was a minifigure, just to try it! ;)

While the jacuzzi is lovely ... I am absolutely building that aquarium and adding it to one of my Lego houses, as soon as I can find the pieces.

I kind of wish that we could just, like, take all of these awesome little tips, and release them as one gigantic X-tra or Ideas sets, or something, you know? Like an "Around the house" or "In the city" set, or something.

Cool. But getting off the subject a little bit, will you be continuing the storage solutions articles? I have enjoyed them but maybe something like more guest articles.

As always these are great!

I especially like the aquarium. I built one myself last week, but this one is much nicer! I will be taking some inspiration from this one to improve my own aquarium.

Thanks for all of these.

I appreciate how you always manage to make your builds small enough to be truly Minifigure scale, yet they are still so detailed. Btw we're building 10273 Haunted House now and when we play the Organ of Catarino a zombie Tiago pops out of the ground by the tombstone w/your initials on it :) He always says "hey everybody! Build something fun today! Brains... braiiinss!!" It's the weirdest thing. Please explain.

I've been thinking of adding a hot tub to my time machine collection.

I love this dude's channel on youtube. My kids have been building stuff from his videos for the last couple weeks and have learned a bunch of new useful techniques.
