Various new products are now available to purchase at LEGO.com, including the enormous 75978 Diagon Alley, 75292 The Razor Crest and the 2020 Advent Calendars.

Moreover, any Harry Potter purchases exceeding £100 or €100 will qualify for the free 40412 Hagrid & Buckbeak which we reviewed last week.

You can view all the brand-new sets on the new sets and products page at LEGO.com and also on Brickset's new items at LEGO.com in the UK and USA pages.

Diagon Alley (75978) is up for sale in USA. I ordered two and it went through with no problems or delays. Now I have to figure out how to modularize this set and enclose the rear side, but still have easy access for playability.

Much easier this time around than it was for the NES set.

I'm trying to order 16 HP Series 2 minifigs and the HP Advent calendar but the Brickhead promo is not adding to my cart. Am I missing something?

For some reason the last time there was a promo some of the polybags and smaller items like CMFs weren't being calculated into the promo threshold. Probably an error on Lego's part, but you may want to consider getting something else as HP is pretty popular and the brickhead may sell out before tomorrow when Lego CS opens for you to inquire.

The stores attach at the back (Ollivanders to Flourish & Blott's, Quality Quidditch Supplies to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes) and with the pin holes on the sides matching up to the modulars it's a perfect connection, just without the floor removal.

I found that for PayPal but if you use a traditional card then it works. Good Luck!!

Imagine not a long time ago all the Lego heads were the same color and print.

"Razor Crest", what's that? Never heard of it. Did you mean the catchily named Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport?

Thanks very much for that tip as that is exactly what was happening with my order. You saved me a bit of frustration there, buddy!

The Razor Crest is on its way to me. If dpd gets it this one time right, I will have it on release day.

Deansl1882 - I had the opposite situation, the regular checkout page just disappeared after one or two seconds, but it worked with Paypal. In the console I got an error like "ScrollTo: 2 arguments expected, 1 present", and instead of just ignoring such a trivial command Opera in its infinite wisdom decides to just blank out the page. Opera is such a POS browser (but the only one that works on that site), honestly I don't know if it worked cause I used Paypal or just cause I happened to scroll the page before it got to that stupid ScrollTo command.

I tried with PayPal last night too and it wouldn't work. I thought it was because I'd linked my PayPal to Amex (coz they don't take Amex in-store) so as soon as I switched to VISA it went through all right.

Ah, I love that the HP Advent Calendar has Padma and Parvati in it! :D I've not had a Lego advent calendar before, but I may actually be tempted by this one just for the two of them, honestly. More minor Hogwarts Students to fill my Great Hall set! xD

As these items are not lego shop exclusives, it makes more sense to wait for a discount and buy them much cheaper through other resellers...

It's working on the website now. I ordered the HP Advent Calendar and minifigs, getting the free gift too, plus I paid with PayPal.

Got my Razor Crest 20 minutes ago and it also reads "The Razor Crest". No change of packaging. And I got the May the 4th Promo as well (was a bit worried about that, given the time gone by since may).

There is a free code to get a Batman cave-Pod (from batman movie) for free too!

Well that was a stressful morning, as ever. Tried again Windows 10, Chrome, 2nd laptop, vip + paypal....... nothing...... as if the place your order button was just a picture.... as suggested changed to card purchase, (my last card on there expired in 2015) and its worked..... EVERYTIME Lego ...some fault with the site.... this may have been Paypal to be fair......

Neither in Europe , both hayride and winter.

Guess it does the set number some justice, 404 not found, 40423 and 40424

Given how short the whole debacle over the name trademark lasted, I'm betting big bucks ModBricks is getting their pants sued off by at least Disney right now.

The HP Series 2 was not included for the promo, but it was a bug. Now your order will work without a problem. (Works in my case in Canada, buy Hedwig, the advent calendar and 3 minifigs to get just over 100$)

I wouldn’t bother. Even if LEGO changed the packaging for Europe, North America and Australia will still get boxes with Razor Crest on them.

By in United States,

One thing my wife and I noticed when placing an order was that even though the threshold for 40412 Hagrid and Buckbeak said a purchase of $100 or more, the $99.99 sets seem to trigger the promo without needing to add additional sets.

That’s true if you live in a country that may discount these sets. I’ve yet to see any large sets discounted at any retail store. Most $100+ rarely gets discounted. Anything above $200 I’ve never seen discounted outside of the 1966 Batcave on Lego when they were trying to get rid of it.

I can almost guarantee Diagon Alley will never be discounted.

So should we refer to the ship from The Mandalorian as "The Razor Crest*" or "The Ship Formerly Known As The Razor Crest"? :)

@marcyo can you just confirm, out of interest the prices / offer in Canada. I too tried to buy minifig this am to find it wasnt initially in but in the uk Hedwig, advent and 3 figures would be £70.45 im not sure how many Canadian dollars that is but in the uk we had to spend £100 for the offer so nearly £30 short. Isnt it amazing how different offers can be.

£300+ at a time when kids need school uniforms, supplies, probably a laptop, shoes and food. Nice timing LEGO - showing us all we're all on the same page.

£300+ at a time for people to be considering it for Christmas presents, just as the advent calendars are being made available.

That might not be much comfort if you are a parent being pestered for it, or even if your Christmas budget doesn't stretch that far. but the timing is to position it for the gift market.

@Lego34s:
I had this problem when trying to buy Bespin with Paypal. I was able to get a CC order to go through, and I also found that if I simply clicked on the Pay By CC tab, and then clicked back to Pay By Paypal, it worked fine. It's a weird little glitch, but it's possible to cheat your way around it without getting someone on the phone.

@Patrik78:
You know, they've largely stopped using that deco because kids reportedly think it looks creepy.

@Marcyo:
Probably less a bug and more an oversight. If the CMF line isn't flagged the same way as the regular sets, they'd have to remember to add it separately to the promo. Bricklink is even worse about this, as they have absolutely no way to link CMF waves to their related themes, like TLM, TLBM, TLNM, DCS, HP, Disney, and Simpsons.

@SithLord196:
That _is_ interesting. Usually that only works in physical LEGO Stores, and then only when you get a generous employee working the register.

@Sethro3:
They do happen. You have to know when/where to find them, but they do happen. One of the easiest is to just get Target's RedCard, and you'll get a permanent discount on everything you buy in store, including LEGO sets. There's also some site that you can sign up with that affords you discounts anywhere you shop. Amazon is known to discount stuff that nobody else does, but I believe you usually have to be a Prime member...so depending on your spending habits it an actually cost you more than you save.
