Today's selection in the $50-$100 price bracket comes courtesy of John_Musketeer:

Warning: there's a spoiler for The Mandalorian season two, episode one in the first paragraph after the break.

With Temuera Morrison’s recent appearance in The Mandalorian, it is appropriate now, not-so-patiently awaiting the third episode (at the time of writing), that I recommend 75277 Boba Fett. Or rather, I hope he portrays Boba in the series rather than a clone, he’s no good to us dead.

From the packaging which benefits from the 18+ branding to the building techniques and attention to detail, this set is worth every penny of its price tag. Its construction is not particularly difficult, but rather deceptively simple. The colour scheme is spot-on throughout the build, whilst the absence of stickers is always welcome.

The technique used to employ the flame yellowish orange and sand green stripes on the side of the helmet is ingenious, whilst simpler techniques are just as effective, such as the adjustable antenna. The inclusion of the grey dent (courtesy of a confrontation with Darth Vader himself) highlights the attention to detail.

In spite of the 18+ guideline, I’d recommend this set to anyone. This is the way.

Any chance of moving that opening paragraph until after the break?
I'd argue that its totally NOT appropriate now to be discussing ANYTHING happening in The Mandalorian after only the second episode.
Please don't make the Season bingers among us have to add Brickset to the LONG list of sites we need to avoid for the next month or two...

Hasn't that casting been announced for months? And even then, it's still just casting. There are plenty of characters that he could be portraying, it doesn't really spoil anything

It has. We found out about temuera being in the show back several months ago. And, by saying that he hopes that he’s Boba, @John_Musketeer has avoided confirmation of who he is playing. Even though I’m pretty sure we found that out when the casting got released, also several months ago. He said nothing of what part the character plays, so I would go as far as to say that the spoiler in that paragraph was actually a several months old one, and I’m highly impressed if @magni_nominis_ umbra had been able to avoid it.

Also, to anyone avoiding sites that may contain spoilers for season two, in probably a month, LEGO is going to reveal a set based off of Chapter: 9, so if you want to avoid all spoilers, stay off of any LEGO site until you watch the season. I have spoken.

By in Australia,

Going ANYWHERE on the net has been fraught with danger for me for at least the last three months. I was TOTALLY unaware that Morrison had been cast until reading it here! I have watched the trailer and am aware that we will get to meet Ahsoka again (though the casting wasn't confirmed when I read that). I've even gone so far as to suspend my Disney plus subscription until late January. I'm entirely sure that new set announcements early in the new year are most likely going to make things SUPER difficult.

Huge thanks to whoever got that opening paragraph hidden so quickly - I'm sure I'm not the only one going on the net these days with one hand over their eyes.

This and the storm trooper are on my wish list.

By in United Kingdom,

I was just waiting for this set to pop up here on the holiday guide. Already on my Christmas list!

My God folks, get a life!
I have never seen a single episode of The Mandalorian, yet even I have heard the rumors / supposed leaks regarding his casting. It's really no big deal. If he's Boba in the series, then so be it. If he isn't, it won't be the end of the world either!
First world "problems" indeed.

Regarding the set though, that is really highly recommendable. I was so impressed after I built it that I got the Stormtrooper helmet afterwards too. Even though I had never planned to do so initially.

Just an inquiry, but what is the motivation for waiting to binge the whole season at once? I quite enjoy looking forward to some quality Star Wars content every Friday.

Exactly! It gives you a good feeling when you remember there’s a new episode every week, although I do suffer with the suspense and miss not watching the next immediately seeing as I was late to the party for season 1.

Yeah, I hear ya. I prefer binge watching myself, but if the option exists to watch it sooner I'll take it! Just ask Netflix how fast I watched all three seasons of Stranger Things...

Disney social media literally posted a huge spoiler content from episode 11 just three days after it was available so I can't see why people like us, who are watching the weekly episodes, should keep silence about it. That's the whole point of releasing one episode a week, for people to discuss about it. Better stay out of SW media, dude.

Nice selection for the gift guide, though I would go for Crocodile before the helmets

Agreed, I feel bad for those who hadn't got around to watching it, and then got it spoiled by this.
