City Advent Calendar - Day 22

Posted by ,

Day 22! We're almost there. The last two days have featured different parts of 60254 Race Boat Transporter, so I think it's reasonable to assume that we'll find the last part of this microbuild behind today's door.

Similar to the Friends calendar build today, no psychic powers were needed here. Today's build is indeed the race boat from 60254. I enjoy seeing the brighter colours of the boat, especially since the trailer didn't have much colour to it.

Combining the last three days' builds provides us the completed microbuild.

I keep mentioning the lack of festive builds, but at least the predominant colour in this build is green....

It...looks like a Dutch wooden shoe. Klompenboating!

An inverted curved slope would have improved the profile

Blimey that boat really makes the truck look small doesn’t it?

That's what I thought, and upon checking, the 1x2 inverted slope does exist in the right color. Maybe they thought using that would make the instructions to complex for the small space. ('Cause you'd also need a couple of plates.)

Indeed, looks blockier than it should.

Yeah, that would have been impossible to figure out. Haha.
