£40? You mean dollars, since that’s North American market
Most UK Stores including the ones near me (and also @Huw} are all closed due to COVID Tier 4 so i wonder if the Car will be like Dickens not in store only at Shop At Home. In addition at this point in time Shop at Home not shipping to UK at the moment due to COVID issues with EU to UK and DPD delivery company....
Is this confirmed for the UK @Huw , would like to know if you've got any info as I would like to let others on another site I use know.
Many thanks :)
That car won’t last all month...
I wonder what the rickshaw/gate Chinese GWP that leaked is for then?
Also on UK Lego Stores due to Tier 4 restrictions and lockdown in Wales and Scotland there are only 4 UK stores open.
Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and Bristol.
Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester are all closing tonight until further notice as they enter Tier 4 from Midnight.
Better than Black Friday. Should have been waiting with the orders.
Next question is, wait until 18th January to get the City GWP as well, or order on the 1st as the Vintage Car might be out of stock on the 18th?

Chinese New Year on 12th Feb?
I find it interesting that the police station is labeled as Creator Expert on the back of the calendar.
Nice, of all the GWP, the Vintage car was the one I had my eye on the most. Really happy it'll be an easy catch with the Police Station, and that I won't miss it during the rest of the year!
The UK shipping delay is a real pain in the a@£€ to say the least, but I’ll see what happens on the 1st as I want both of these GWPs even if they are delayed.
.... and slightly off topic, bit just noticed 80107 Spring Lantern Festival has moved from the 10th to 1st of Jan for availability.
As the Vintage Car and Book Of Monsters GWP overlap, does that mean if you spend $85 or over on a Harry Potter set, you’ll end up with both as a freebie?
It's a shame that the car will only be available as a GWP. It would make an excellent standalone set.
I guess 40417 Year of the Ox won’t come til February?

Yes!
Will they have anything to buy, or will it be like the ice skating promotion?
Hopefully they restock the razor crest soon so I can get this.
There is no rational reason on Earth for me to want that little car, but I want it. Here's to starting 2021 by diving into the world of ordering online from Lego on a busy day. (I feel for their staff, actually. They are always so pleasant and patient. I wonder if they dread those days?)
The question of the moment: do I start shortly after midnight or wait for morning?
Is this physical store only or also on their web store?

Haven’t all of the modulars been Creator Expert since the Palace Cinema in 2013?

Read the fine print on page 2 ;)
I’ve always loved classic cars. Don’t usually make purchases just for promos, but might have to get this one!
The X-wing and TIE together are $90. Since I’m getting those, I’ll get this too! Awesome!
The problem I have on January isn't if I have $85 on LEGO sets, it is if there is anything available to buy.
Regarding that old car GWP, as usual Australia is last.... Sorry to every other country that you had to wait for us (LOL sounds like a future climate change speech...)
And while Id love to get the Police Station and this vintage car as soon as possible, both my local Lego stores are in Queensland which is run by a Soviet dictator who has a fetish with closing borders. RIP And that windscreen bugs me almost as much as Anastasia!

Got to keep the COVID away...
Harry Potter book of monsters looks epic! Sucks that it was not available when I purchased Diagon Alley. Maybe I'll bite the bullet and purchase enough of the Hogwarts moments sets to qualify for it? Food for thought.

Indeed, just a shame that's seemingly sold out forever just in time for this.

The new modular is not labeled as Creator Expert; it has the new 18+ branding.
Any ideas when the Police Station goes live tomorrow night in North America? CST?
Can't wait to try to convert this vintage car into a 8-studs wide.
40 dollar threshold on basically polybags? No thanks...
I can't wait to get the Monster Book of Monsters!

Does it really matter what the GWP sets are when nothing is in stock? I could start a promo on my brick link site where I give away a Tesla with anything over $100 becuase I don’t have anything for sale over $100...it is a nice set, just like the ice skating scene but good luck ????
If I were to order the new sets I want, would the GWP be included despite the shipping delay in the United Kingdom?
Assuming that LEGO has enough stock to get through at least most of the month, I must say that this is very generous of them. They don't HAVE to give anything away if they don't wish to, and to have this range of gifts peppered throughout the month at a variety of different tiers is nice to see. :)
apparently January only has 28 days in Lego's world...

It's a US calendar. They do all sorts of weird medieval stuff with their units and dates, so who knows...

Book of Monsters is already out of stock (at least in Hungary)

Sold out in the UK by lunchtime and now removed for the offers page! So much for being available for whole of January while stocks last, only available for 12 hours!
