Issue 12 of the Italian-language Brick.it magazine is now available for download for a nominal fee.
The 95-page issue of the periodical contains many articles on minifigs: their history, collecting them, the world's largest collection, photographing them, and much more besides.
If you can read Italian, which unfortunately I cannot, I encourage you to take a look.
