I wonder why there was so much sudden interest in monorails too
Are monorails suddenly the new trend?
That is a huge drop for 40449 Easter Bunny's Carrot House. To go from 1 last week now to 10, have I seen that before? (I wonder if there's been a number 1 viewed set one week and for it to completely disappear from the list the next.)
I think monorails may have a thing to do with the new reproduction 9V train tracks. I think that there most definitely is enough interest to have reproduction tracks (and motors/mechanical parts) being made.
Isn’t it odd that the buildable teal brick is up there at number two? I kinda thought that one was old news by now.

These new tracks may have also peaked interest in 4DBrix who 3D print train tracks and monorails tracks as mentioned a few years back in https://brickset.com/article/25471 , where they have lots of additional accessories for controlling points, signals, trains etc. But the prices of monorail track at around $10 each are still too high for a starter AFOL to build a complete 20 piece track, without thinking about just buying in secondary market at the crazy prices shown on the brickset pages, to also obtain train motor, battery pack and carriage bodywork which they do not sell.
