April Fool's!

Unfortunately LEGO has no plans to release a series of Duplo sets for adults (that we know of!) but it's certainly not beyond the realm of possibility given the direction its 'adults welcome' marketing is going!
We had great fun coming up with the idea and writing the article, which was of course heavily influenced by the pompous and cringeworthy language LEGO uses in its press releases and set descriptions nowadays.
Thanks to Chris/CapnRex101 for writing most of it, Benbacardi for the awesome lifestyle images, and his daughter for lending him the bricks.
I hope you enjoyed reading it, and those posted elsewhere. They certainly brightened up my day. My favourite was the leaked leeks. Adam did a great job of designing the model and mocking up a picture of the box, complete with confidential watermark.

The Leaked Leeks was great but my favourite of the day was your Duplo article. It was perfect. I loved it. The writing was such a gleeful parody of marketer speak. Thanks for the good laughs!
It was definitely a great April Fools joke, and it all looked similar to how LEGO would write a press release for Adult Duplo

The slash represents a space.

The prank LEGO pulled yesterday with the smart bricks that move out of the way, was actually on my local news this morning! My mom was so excited when she saw it, before she realized it was fake! Lol, I wish it was legit!!!
I just want to say that Benbacardi's photographs for the Duplo article were amazing! They were staged and shot very well, and perfectly imitated the photos in official Lego adult-targeted press releases.
I also loved the effort you went to even create database entries for the new sets!

Loved this and all the others. Shout-out to @Benbacardi for the photos that really mimicked LEGO's promo image style!
Does anybody with mad graphics skills feel inclined to make printable boxes for these? That would truly bring the joke to life!

I think my favorite was the Jack Stone revival. Although the leeks box was a well-done mock-up.
Those leeks were really cool MOCs imho. Of course they were just a joke, but looked absolutely awesome.

Am I the only one who keeps seeing little green Christmas tree lights whenever I see a thumbnail of the leeks?
This is honestly disappointing. I often feel embarrassed when kids on Tik Tok make fun of me for buying and collecting Duplo. I was really hoping this adult line could add some validity to lego duplo. : (
