By in Ireland,

A step too far for ‘BrickHeadz’ I’m afraid.

Nice.
Surprising lack of bananas though.

Is Gru meant to be a floating ghost?

By in United Kingdom,

What kind of a name is 'Belle Bottom'?

By in United States,

Ha! I just sent you this via email a couple hours ago @huw

It's a pun.. bell bottoms are a type of trousers.

His legs are the same color as the base so they blend in

Also I like how the arms of the Minions are built

By in Romania,

The lack of mouths on the Minions really drags them down. They look pretty bad.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love brickheadz and own nearly all of them but these are probably the first ones I don’t really care for. Except I do like belle bottoms hair, it’s pretty groovy

By in United States,

I like the way they did the Minion's goggles and Gru's scarf, although I agree that the Minions should have mouths.
Did anyone else think Bob and Kevin were naked at first glance?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Since very few brickheadz have a mouth, I don't see the problem with the minions not having one. Bell Bottoms hair looks like a Lowell Sphere construction. So congratz too Bruce Lowell for seeing his idea in an original lego set.

In my opinion, this is the only valid application of Minions based characters in the Lego medium. Probably the only Brickheads I actually like besides the Statue of Liberty because the ridiculous proportions somehow work better this way.

By in United States,

Still didn't get Gru's nose right.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I wish they'd done colored eyes. Bob is supposed to have mismatched eyes :(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I was just thinking that the Brickhead human/alien/film/comic being was no more, and we were lucky if we get some animals now but these look great...…. ill be getting them very soon.

Every day we stray further from the light

So because one set comes with overalls and the other has Bruce Lee’s track suit, I guess I’ll be buying multiple copies of these.

@CCC:
Nah. That’s not a nose. Gru’s nose would stick out a lot farther. That’s just his pre-nose.

By in Finland,

They should've done one of Bob's eyes as green, they did Lloyd's eyes in green and Martian Manhunter's in red, Bob should have the same treatment

Gravatar
By in United States,

My aunt on Facebook is stoked. I haven’t seen her this excited since the last Qanon drop.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Love them! Ordered!
I will put blue dungarees on Kevin and Bob before I display them - but I'm not sure I will invest in two extra sets just to get the front pockets for them... ;-D

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Should of done Scarlett Overkill and Herb! Lol..
I won't get these but cute set lego!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm afraid these are headed for the heavily discounted aisles. As mentioned (kind of), we really needed one to have a fruit hat with like apples, pineapples, bananas...that would have been amazing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m a little fatigued with the minions theme overall, and these just aren’t very appealing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’ve been a big fan of the BH theme since the beginning...however lately I feel like the theme is little more than a filler.

“Hey...we need some product here, something quick...get some Brickheadz worked up and produced quickly to fill the gap.”

“But there’s no real cohesion to this theme anymore, we’ve already kind of lost the hardcore fan base on this stuff.”

“Fans. Did you say FANS?? The customers do not come first...who is this guy? Do you read our annual reports, son? It’s the PROFIT...we make this stuff to make the MOOLAH.”

And just so there’s no misunderstanding...I completely understand that it’s a business. The words “collector friendly” simply can’t co-exist in a LEGO theme. Just my opinion. Probably should have written this post coffee...

Well these came out of the far left field.

I feel like Brickheads should take advantage of being in the LEGO medium more than they do. What I mean by that is things like the Creeper's head hiding TNT, or Homer Simpson having a single stud representing his tiny brain. Something that makes the build process interesting and adds something unique to the final figure.

By in United Kingdom,

I'm wondering why Lego got the Despicable Me/ Minion concession from Mega Bloks. The MB ones weren't hugely available in the UK, and aren't up to the material quality of Lego, but they were considerably more affordable and there were some nice sets including two figures which were not hugely dissimilar in size to Brick Hedz, but were better shaped. Will Lego be able to get away with Minion CMF series following umpteen series from MB?

By in United States,

I don't get all the hate for these. I'm not a huge brickheadz fan, but these actually look pretty good in my opinion.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't care about Brickheadz, but Minions really fit the design. I may consider picking up the coverall set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

They should make a Rick James BrickHeadz set.

Agreed. Those were two very cool little gems and there should have been more. Homer had two, the brain and the donuts. But yeah I completely agree that was a neat feature. I thought the Frankenstein brain should have been grey...like awakened tissue rather than fresh pink. I also was expecting the holiday Scarecrow to maybe be missing his brain (homage to WoO) but that’s just wishful thinking.

Ah Brickheadz...if I only had the skillz to make what’s in my head...
