U2-CB - Ultimate UCS Collector's Book giveaway

Posted by ,

We recently reviewed the excellent U2-CB - Ultimate UCS Collector's Book which documents the history of the Ultimate Collector Series and contains outstanding photography of each set.

The author, Rafael López, has kindly provided the book and two copies of the associated U2-CB poster for Brickset readers to win. Find out how to enter after the break...

U2-CB contains extensive information about the Ultimate Collector Series and equivalent sets, hence we are asking entrants to do the following:

  • Correctly answer the five questions below about UCS sets, the answers to which can be found in the database.
  • Follow @bricksetofficial and @rocobricks on Instagram.

Entry closes at midnight (BST) on Sunday, the 16th of May. Three winners will be chosen at random from among those who have answered the questions correctly and are following both @bricksetofficial and @rocobricks on Instagram.

The small print:

  • Entry is open worldwide.
  • Three winners will be selected at random from among those who have completed the above tasks.
  • One person will win a copy of U2-CB - Ultimate UCS Collector's Book, while two others will win U2-CB posters.
  • An email address is required to enter and will only be used to contact winners. Data relating to this competition will be deleted once it's ended.
  • One entry per email address. Subsequent entries will be deleted.
  • The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Good luck!

By in Australia,

How do you verify Instagram followers? Do I need to have an Instagram account with the same email I put in here? What if someone keeps the list of who they follow private?

We'll contact potential winners to verify if needed.

By in Ireland,

I'll happily follow @rocobricks on Twitter (I already follow @brickset) but I don't have an Instagram account...

I have a Facebook account. Would that work?

Im secure enough with myself, to not need to post everything I own on IG and pretend to be something I am not, so don't have an IG account! :)

Hi Huw, I use my email but the form does not have any space for instagram account

@OscarWRG, we were intending to ask it but it turned out not to be possible on a quiz form apparently. I've amended the small print.

Prejudice often comes from a lack of self security or fear. Are you sure your secure enough with yourself? ;-)

Question 5 is proving... problematic.

Once the competition is closed, I'd love to know the Captain's thought processes on how you might track the answer down. `My search-fu is usually strong, but this one's a toughie.

By in Germany,

I'd love to know why an Instagram account is required. Surely an email address would have sufficed, no?
Ah well, bad luck then.

Ultimate Ultimate Collector's Series Collector's Book.

And we all thought Star the Clone Wars Wars was a silly name. :P

I love books like this, but I hate that they are outdated within the next few months.

By in Slovenia,

Why do giveaways have to be linked with Instagram? It is quite annoying!

By in United Kingdom,

I've had to set up an Instagram account for work purposes, but I'd agree with other commenters - I'd much rather not need to have a Twitter / Instagram / other 'soshal meeja' account in order to enter a competition.

But I do appreciate that if someone is giving something away free and for gratis, then they get to set the rules.

Entered with a different email than the one linked with my Instagram profile. Hope will not be an issue...

By in Germany,

Lol, most quizzes to enter giveaways on other site feel like a joke but this one actually took work and I'm still not certain if I really got it right.
