This comparison photo shows well that the LEGO version is not perfect ...
Yes I don't think that split is doing the Lego version any favours!
All they needed to do was tilt the LEGO head forward slightly and I'm sure it would have been a good split comparison image. Was it really that hard? Not interested in Carnage anyway.
I'm still amazed that a character literally named Carnage has earned multiple appearances in Lego sets. And not just ones aimed at the older fan.
That said, we've also got a Lego David Hasselhoff, so I probably shouldn't be that surprised.
Keep in mind it's free delivery from LEGO, and £1.99 UK (£3-5 average worldwide) delivery from Zavvi.
Or be patient and wait for a sale like a sensible person.

I'm sure this deal will interest some people but I personally am not interested in the set. I kind of wish we just got a Minifigure-scale set off of the new movie (let's be real, it's not gonna be rated R).
I like the side by side poster, looks cool. Guess it comes down to how much you are willing to accept the limitations of Lego and that it's not supposed to be a collector molded piece - I'm sure there's plenty of that out there if you want something to look just like the comic/movie version. Just ordered Carnage and Venom yesterday morning, am looking forward to building them :)
PS - Built Darth Vadar last week and loved that too, thought the eyes especially where so well done. I liked the Iron Man one too, I'm just weird lol :P
