Daily Bugle headline teases forthcoming Marvel set
Posted by Huw,
LEGO has published this teaser image on social media, featuring the Daily Bugle newspaper and presumably anticipating the imminent announcement of another Marvel Super Heroes set.
The newspaper front page contains references to Black Cat, Mysterio, Green Goblin and Carnage, also showing the corner of an intriguing Daily Bugle building!

This is going to be a very expensive summer for this LEGO fan over here.
So excited! This'll be awesome!!!
If the letters represented in tiles are accurate, the Roman Coliseum better watch out-competition has arrived.
I honestly cannot wait for this set!
I really hope there's a cheaper way to get the anticipated Daredevil and Punisher minifigs.
Poor wallet ?? but I am excited about getting the Punisher and Daredevil plus black cat!
Rumoured to be 4 stories high with 25 mini figs? Oh boy...my spidey sense is tingling!
No one's asking the really important question... will it contain Spider-man's iconic collection of bikes, helicopters and trucks?
@TheInfamousBobaFett honestly, I could see them doing an Avengers Tower maybe next year or the year after in a similar scale to this. Like how the Ninjago City, Docks and Gardens are designed to slot next to each other but were released aaages apart.

I sure hope not... I like having both kidneys.
The paper also teases a price of 50¢!
Modular compatibility would be nice...
Can't wait for this set! I kinda hate it when big sets leak because seeing them in HD for the first time is always better IMO, but this looks like one amazing building. I hope it's on a baseplate and is fully enclosed!

"I’ve seen it
It looks horrible
I don’t understand the hype
I’ve never liked the Bugle
I rather have a huge avengers tower but nope of course not "
You sound like someone else I saw who doesn't actually understand the history behind the Bugle.
I've seen it too. it's the OG version. Typical skyscraper building with a giant sign at the top. But that's literally what the OG Bugle was in the comics, a skyscraper with a giant sign at the top. However, the damaged portion is an amazing touch imo, the figures are simply out of this world (Daredevil, Punisher, Firestar, Blade, Black Cat, like are you kidding me?), and I imagine there's plenty of detail on the inside. Plus it's insanely tall.
As an avid reader of the comics as a child and a major fan of Spider-Man then and now, I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree with you. And I think a lot of other people will too.
The leaked picture looks amazing.
Build looks great but apart from the small handful of exclusive figures, all the figures look like repeats of all previous versions. Very disappointing, you would think they'd push the boat out for a £300 set.
Just seen the leak. Talk about a tall building of MEH.
I'm really really hyped for this one, It's like the one stop shop for everything Lego Spider-Man. I love how it also signifies a renewed interest by Lego towards more comics based stuff, that has been sadly relegated to really repetitive Spider-Man sets in the recent years. I've been slowly collecting figures from those comics based Lego Marvel sets that released between 2012 and 2017, but if this means that there's more of that to come I don't have to rely on Ebay any longer. Don't get me wrong I love MCU, but the over detailed costume designs don't always do it for me, and mixing MCU and Comic Book based figures feels wrong to me for some reason.
And that's nothing to say of the great looking build. I love how unapologetically tall it is. Can't wait to modify this to fit it next to my modular Sanctum Sanctorum.
Crossing my fingers, that these D2C Comics based sets become a yearly or even bi-yearly Lego tradition going forward.

It's not a "small handful" by any means imo. I count at least six exclusive characters, plus exclusive prints for several more, including a new, insanely cool looking build for Dock Ock's tentacles. For a set rumored to have a whopping 25 figures in it, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there are some figures being kept completely under wraps too. I'm holding off my judgement on all of that for now.
Just saw the alleged leak...
OMFG!
OMFG good or OMFG bad? :o)

GOOD!
Oh my goodness! I usually buy one big set of a theme I don’t usually get every year. This might have to be it this year.
What The--?! It comes with 25 minifigs? Firestar? Black Cat? Spider-Woman? Daredevil? The Punisher?
Oh that is so gonna take a nice chunk outta my tax refund, but rarely will I have been so happy to spend money.
Edit: I just saw a video with shots of the outside and the inside; this set is impressive! I’m hoping for J Jonah Jameson, Robbie Robertson, and Betty Brant minifigs for the inside. That would mean 22 superhero and supervillain minifigs.
Sooooo buying this set!
