Amazon Prime Day LEGO deals
Posted by Huw,Amazon's annual Prime Days event commences today. During the two-day event loads of stuff is reduced, including LEGO.
Here are direct links to the discounted LEGO listings, but remember that whatever you buy there via our links, we'll receive a small commission which helps keep the site running and free for everyone.
Amazon.co.uk. Around 50 sets have been reduced, including:
- 42% off 31109 Pirate Ship (£51.99)
- 30% off all of the summer Vidiyo releases (yes, already!)
- 37% off 21319 Central Perk (£40.99)
Amazon.com: Around 30 sets discounted, including:
Items will probably come and go during the event so check the site often.
The event is also running at Amazon.de, Amazon.fr and in other countries too, so if you find any good deals, let us know in the comments.

Brought the Pirate Ship for £36.07 with the help of credit and a gift card I had. Some amazing prices in the sale. Costco UK also have some good deals too.
I'm not seeing that much for us
Some very tempting offers there, but have just done the LEGO.com order for the GWP! Must resist temptation...
Well Huw, you just cost me $150. =P It would have been worse if I didn't already have several of the deal sets.
Annoyed with this though: 71376 is on sale, but the regular Amazon price is $50, when the MSRP is $40. I have noticed this many times now, i.e. Amazon (direct) selling items above MSRP. This is relatively new for them, and disappointing. I actually just ordered that set from LEGO.com about an hour before the sale started (to get the GWP) and deliberately checked Amazon first to make sure it was not recently on sale, saw that (above MSRP) $50 price, and went for it at LEGO.com at $40. Now $29 at Amazon.
This one-click thing is so dangerous... to my wallet X)
Just took a look on Amazon.com (US) and someone is dumping their old sets as 'Prime Day' deal with a higher 'original' price so the rebate looks interesting when it's not... :-(
I mean it's certainly expected for discontinued Star Wars sets, but because it's tagged as 'Prime Day' deal, I feel sorry for the people who don't know better.
The 76126 Avengers Ultimate Quinjet is awesome, I highly recommend it!
Just ordered Ship In a Bottle and a couple little sets for my cousins :)
Really seems to vary a bit between the regional Amazon sites.
NL has some good ninjago deals like 71705 : Destiny's Bounty and 71721 : Skull Sorcerer's Dragon 50% off.
The US deals are not very desirable, at least to me. I already have the few discounted sets that interest me. Not much is on sale and as mentioned already, a lot that is marked as being on sale is not a markdown from MSRP.
Maybe additional deals will be added tomorrow.
Awesome as amazon.sg has the lowest prices I have ever seen on lego here but I don’t have prime :(
I notice a lot of the deals are 2020 sets, and many 2021 summer sets aren't even on Amazon yet.
Hopefully it means that a set like 31120 will show up soon, seems some sets have a 1 month exclusivity to LEGO.com now, and a bit longer for some IDEAS sets.
Looks like Prime Day in Canada has been postponed. Not sure until when though
Nothing too exciting for me on Amazon.de to be honest. The only good deal sets I already have, so no need to spend this time around.
OK, I succumbed. 3 great offers from my wish list came up. But then, I saved enough to cover my last BnP order.
Finally a price reduction on Sith TIE Fighter 75272 (40%, $47.99) for those interested in the US. I gave in back in February when I thought it would never be on sale.
I haven't bought anything on Amazon in almost about a year, and I must say, it was surprisingly easy to give up. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. (It's a personal decision based on ethics, if you're wondering)
Interestingly, I bought the Quinjet from Amazon a while back for a lower price than this “deal.”
Not for the first time, I'm jealous of the discounts in the UK compared to the US.
PrimeDay is delayed in Canada.... however, they have several set usually not on sale for a good discount. Modular bookstore and Old Trafford Stadium can both be had for 15% off.
Looks like the Pirate Ship has already been withdrawn from that offer in the UK.
The Orange Spaceperson ('Penny', surely?) minifig book can be had for £14.50 though. It's listed as £18.12 but a further 20% comes off that at checkout.
21042 Statue of Liberty (Architecture) is pretty good at 42% off, £51.99 compared to £89.99
Personally I'm saving the new cheaper X-Wing and TIE-Fighter until I need to make up some GWP totals nearer Christmas...
Picked up 3 (max order) of the "old" road plate packs (straight & T-junction) for $9 apiece, which is 40 percent off. I don't see those on discount very often.
The LEGO Boost 17101 Creative Toolbox has 40% off, usually only 20% discount to RRP.
old sets 70410 overpriced 20 now 54$ yeah people dumping there sets get it on prime day deal
They have the Razor Crest at US $77.99!! Great Deal

Ideas Piano is now 20% off in Amazon.ca as well. Good deal if it's your kind of thing of course....
If you didn't already have the ship in a bottle then the US deal is amazing! But other than that the US deals are pretty lack luster this year. The good news was that Target and Walmart and Kohls have all followed suit to offer deals these two days in store and online, however they don't have much to offer either... Oh well. get to save some cash I guess!
It's not easy to find these deals. The link provided above is helpful, but the "Lightning Deals" don't show up there. So I missed the Razor Crest at 40% off.
But I stumbled on the A Wing Starfighter for 37% off. That did not come up in any search, it was just one of those recommendations at the bottom of the screen.
These Prime Day Deals are very confusing to me.

Generally though, US RRP prices are considerably lower than UK ones (accounting for tax already included in UK prices) and even more so because of sales/discounts at Walmart etc. 76188 for example has an RRP of $30 in the US but $40 in the UK (before tax). Add UK VAT and the price is $48.
Where the UK does have an advantage is in the timing of the summer releases. Like the rest of Europe, the UK gets those on 1 June whereas North America isn’t until 1 August.
$40 off the LEGO Technic Land Rover Defender 42110. Good deal for a great model.

That was my purchase as well. I hate to give Jeff Bezos even more money, but in this case I apparently wasn’t giving him so much as usual, and who knows how much longer the old plates will be around, right? I do like the new road system, but wanted to have my options with the old one as well.
Yeah, I don’t know about other countries but in the US most “deals” are marked up retired sets…sometimes wildly overpriced. There’s a lot of this on Amazon generally for some reason.
I picked up 53172 at Walmart.com for only $60. Not bad! All that lovely trans blue…
