10282 Adidas Originals Superstar is now available at LEGO.com, priced at £79.99 / $79.99 / 89.99€. In addition, 40486 Mini Adidas Originals Superstar is a gift with purchase while stocks last. You'll need to spend $85 / €95 / £95 to get it, though, which will thus require you to top up your basket with something else if you want to acquire both.

Also launched today is 43197 The Ice Castle, the first direct-to-consumer mini-doll set, and also the largest. It's flown under the radar somewhat on account of LEGO not sending it out to fan sites to review, but it certainly looks like it's everything a Frozen fan could ask for.

Furthermore, three new Monkie Kid sets are now available worldwide, including 80028 The Bone Demon!

By in Australia,

Its now 9am on the 1st july in Australia. No sign yet of the mini shoe. Any one else seen it in cart yet?

By in Singapore,

Ice castle looks great and awesome but a little overpriced and Adidas superstar is overpriced everywhere except in North America

By in United States,

Well there's one--when's the other shoe going to drop?
(hey, -someone- had to say it!)

By in United States,

No mention of the three Monkie Kid sets that are also released July 1st (including the record-setting Bone Demon)? They're the ones I'm most excited for.

By in United Kingdom,

I thought the Ninjago Brickheadz were supposed to be available for sale on 1st July too but no sign yet

I hope we still earn the points on the items we purchase now, I’ve just ordered all three of the new Monkie kid sets and want those points.

Wait, it isn’t overpriced in North America?

By in Germany,

The trainers? I thought it was only one, not several.

And what a pity they were dropped. Hopefully you managed to put the pieces back together again....

Or is that supposed to be some cool slang?
Probably, as I've never heard of that phrase before.

Nope. Am I surprised? Nope.

By in Canada,

For the price, why don't I just buy a pair of brand new Adidas Originals Superstar and displayed them on my desk? (In an emergency, I can even wear them.)

Makes me wish they made a Humpty Dumpty Lego set - for the irony!

Thanks, mention of Monkie Kid has been added.

By in Canada,

Yippee! Now I can finally complete my huge shoe collection with a Lego shoe! Seriously, I dont know who Lego thinks will buy this. People who have the exact same shoes I guess, but even then, I wouldnt want a Lego version of MY shoes.

By in United States,

At first I didn't see the value in this, but I just had a crazy idea. Order two copies to build the left and right pair, then put them on a BIONICLE to recreate one of those over-sized yeezies memes. People photoshop it with Pohatu Nuva all the time, I want to see the real thing.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

If you want to blow 180 Euros on recreating some half-baked meme, more power to you - but don't ask me to do that for you.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A shoe? Totally pointless. Where's the other one? How much? 18+? How are you supposed to fit your foot in it? How gullible do Lego think we are?

Whoops.... In basket.... Ordered. (Along with a Typewriter that can't even type!). I blame mind control from my local 5G mast.

By in United States,

Never thought I'd live long enough to see the Ultimate Collector's Series Shoe.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The shaping looks good, but I don’t have any use for a Lego shoe. Even if it was a pair at that price, I still wouldn’t buy it.

Lego has been releasing a lot of cool looking sets, but oddly enough they have also been letting me save my money. Weird.

By in United States,

Would love to see a Brickset review of 43197

Gravatar
By in United States,

In my opinion this is the dumbest idea for a LEGO set ever!

Indeed Do we know if that's now delayed or they have run out ? Nothing on the US site either...…. Come on Lego.

By in Belgium,

Bravo, a gwp that asks for 5 $/€/£ more than the price of the 'p' it's supposed to accompany... classy!

Couldn't agree more. It's extraordinarily lame to not get the little shoe with the big one, especially since the price is so close. Shame on you, LEGO.

If its any consolation its £15 in the UK, its terrible for customers /fans but great for Lego. People ARE going to want the trainer free with the trainer so they WILL buy another set to make the extra limit. Grrrrrrr

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can we talk about how much BS it is if you just buy the full Adidas shoe it isn't enough to cover the smaller one that is the GWP? Added an R2-D2 Keychain to up my cart. Love LEGO, but sometimes the nickel and diming is annoying.

Good news, they now exist "coming soon" and are cheaper than originally suggested £25.99 not £29.99

By in Canada,

On the Canadian version of the website, the Superstar Trainer 10282 costs $109.99 and the price point to get 40486 Mini Adidas Superstar is $110. However, the one penny difference doesn't seem to matter, and the mini trainer GWP is added to my cart. So it does not seem universal that one must top-up their purchase in order to the the mini trainer.

By in United Kingdom,

That's not even in my shoe size... Also what about lego socks.
