New cape piece for Doctor Strange looks great!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just want the No Way Home set for Doctor Strange.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It is most curious to me that none of these sets or the Marvel sets were unveiled during LEGOcon. If they wanted that event to be more interesting/special this would have helped.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Look at that fantastic new cape! When are these out?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Those tile prints are seductive

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m quite liking all of these! Nice to have an official version of the black and red suit. The new versions with the black and gold are also pretty sweet, even if I don’t typically associate that color scheme with Spidey.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Set reveals, set reveals. Can't go a week without a set reveal. Just imagine a week without a set reveal...

Sets look nice though. That updated vulture looks cool (are the fans supposed to be that big?) and it's nice that we get Mysterio and him again. But aren't there supposed to be other villains from the sinister six? Are those witheld until release?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is literally the greatest Spiderman wave of anything. EVER

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh, my aching wallet...

Gravatar
By in Finland,

These are extremely strange
-all of them have the branding of the new movie but only the biggest one is based on it, why not have the Infinity Saga branding for the 2 smaller ones?
-why is there like a big golden drone and black & gold Spidey-suit in the Homecoming set, those two things were absolutely not in the movie
-why a plastic cape for Dr. Strange, I think that looks stupid

Gravatar
By in United States,

Low key see some good space Moc'n torsos and legs - just throw a armor pack on to cover the spider logo.

Also, new Dr. Strange Cape is great - gonna get some for my castle stuff.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

YES! A new Zendaya minifigure! :0 And they don’t use the black hair anymore.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There are so many spoilers here it hurts my eyes

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That dual moulded trans clear and tan(?) egg timer element is lovely

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Funny, on first glance I thought they put a Vampire Hunter in a 4+ Set, cause that's how I wanted Blade to look in the 300€ Daily Bugle set and not with plain legs.
But seems they start to listen to fans and the minifigures look awesome.

Gravatar
By in United States,

but if you're in it, isn't it not a drone?

Gravatar
By in United States,

“Inspired by Spider-Man Homecoming”

That and Scrooge McDuck, by the look of it.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

These sets are freaking amazing. I don't care that they're likely inaccurate, the figures are incredible. Dual-molded Upgraded Spider-Man in a 4+ set?? A black and gold Spidey with ARM PRINTING in a regular $20 retail set?! A new cape mold for Doctor Strange and accurate versions of Vulture and Mysterio???! Take my money, LEGO! I hope we do get a spoiler wave of sets for this movie in January, though, given all of the rumored characters (and two confirmed) that we're expecting to see.

why is the juniors actualy good?!

LEGO Con wasn't for us. It was for a mainstream audience that may have dipped a toe into the hobby as a result of the pandemic. It was also to generate headlines in mainstream non-LEGO press, which it did. It was likely a successful event for them on their own terms, i.e., for their goal of trying to remind regular people that LEGO exists and is a viable hobby with a lot of different themes and possibilities. It just wasn't tailored to hardcore fans even a little bit, which is why it's being poorly received in those (these) circles.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Really like that workshop!

Gravatar
By in United States,

So, um, we have three new sets from No Way Home. But only one is actually from No Way Home. The other two are from the previous films.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Guessing here: maybe those are alternate realities that had events similar to, but not exactly identical to, the events in FFH and HC.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Sanctum Workshop is honestly cool, and I'm not a licensed collector, just a great interior decor set by itself.

Drone Duel golden web parts and the spiderman print are cool as well, but I fear the gold (and sticker) parts do look better on the render then actually in a set.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Great sets if a little bulky.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Facing some pretty difficult budget decisions in August... they’re all so good.

Gravatar
By in Romania,

I can't believe they wasted their precious bins on arm and leg printing for a made-up golden Spider-Man suit that fires golden webs. It's like the old days of Kenner Batman and Robin movie action figures.

Extremely well said

By in United States,

I want the Vulture figure but the drone and golden Spider-Man don’t really appeal to me. The new Doctor Strange is great but I already have the first figure (and the set he came with) so I don’t know if I’ll get it. Maybe I’ll want that set more after the movie comes out idk. The 4+ set is a 4+ set and thus the only appeal for me is the Nick Fury figure.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

That room set has so many neat pieces! AND RETURN OF THE HOURGLASS PIECE

Gravatar
By in United States,

What the heck these are so gooood!!!
I need that homecoming set, even though it’s super inaccurate, just cause the figs are so cool

Gravatar
By in United States,

Remember that time Spider-Man stole Killmonger's Black Panther suit from Wakanda and fought the Vulture by riding in on a gold plated drone while slinging gold plated spider webs? Best MCU scene ever.

Doctor Strange is in the third set and alternate realities is kind of his whole deal. I think it's extremely likely that both of those other sets are, in fact, No Way Home tie-ins that have the other movies slapped on the box as a misdirect

Gravatar
By in Poland,

So, Spider-Man will live in Sanctum Sanctorum.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Sanctum Workshop is on my list of sets I'm interested in, for sure! It looks like a very cool set piece, which alone makes it neat; though the minifigures especially are the main appeal to me. I have to say, that MJ looks a lot more accurate to the actress than the one from 76129 did, which is great; that Spider-Man suit is VERY nice, too; and though I haven't seen Dr. Strange's own movie yet, I thought he and Wong were cool in Infinity War, and would be happy to add them to my collection too ^^

I didn't even know the third MCU Spider-Man movie was coming soon... I loved Far From Home, so I'm definitely gonna make plans to see that one when it does arrive. December, according to google...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Speaking of Marvel sets, whatever happened to those 'Eternals' or whatever, ones that turned up in a catalogue back at the end of last year? The database still lists them as unreleased... are they just on hold indefinitely for whatever reason?

I'm not particularly interested in them, since I don't know the characters at all. I just suddenly remembered them and was curious.

Gravatar
By in Venezuela,

I NEED that new Dr Strange minifig

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cool figures, but none of the builds are good. I'm not sure about Doctor Strange having a solid plastic cape . . .

The “Eternals” movie was originally slated for release in November 2020, but was pushed to November 2021 due to Covid. I suspect we will see them on shelves a month or two before then - so quite soon.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Lego released more sets this week than in Lego Con.

These 3D renders need more ray tracing.

Gravatar
By in Croatia,

73 pieces 20$, 198 pieces 20$?
: /

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

That Sanctum Workshop set seems to have both a mimic and a chuul so thats going to be a lot of happy DnD players

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wong looks err.... Wrong.

That was LEGOCon…

Gravatar
By in United States,

With all those great accessories, The Sanctum Workshop is sure to be a hit. Lego drones have never done it for me, even if that one is sorta shaped like a spider.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Love the Sanctum Workshop, but the others seem a little bit out of place. Another drone? Really?

Gravatar
By in United States,

So there’s also apparently a Funko Pop scheduled for a “Gold Suit” Spider-Man. So this may actually be from No Way Home.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Sanctum Workshop set looks interesting and one that will go on my wishlist. The Drone Attack one I might grab at a deep discount. Drone Duel is of no interest but I may seek out interesting parts.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Dark, was hoping for mysterious wispy legs without having to get the spidervan lol

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my goodness! These MCU Spiderman sets top each other every wave.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These all look great. Lots of awesome minifigs.

Why does LEGO jack up the prices of the 4+ sets? 76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio's Drone Attack is $20 for 73 pieces?!? Ridiculous! That junior-ized car chassis isn't worth $12 to make up the price variance by a long shot. It's shameful they charge such stupid prices for something like this. Quit paying full price for these and wait for it to go on clearance.

Big pieces = $$$

They'll might go on clearance eventually.

Bricks and pieces will get it to you for cheap :)

Only one is (Sanctum Workshop) from No Way Home. The others are not.

Great to be able to get very accurate versions of Vulture, Mysterio and FFH Spider-Man in such cheap sets. Especially Mysterio looks perfect!

Since I'm fairly fresh out of the dark ages, could you tell what difference does it make? More "big" pieces?

Not as many spoilers as you might think. The two sets that don't have Dr. Strange both say they are inspired by one of the previous two movies in the series, even though they are within this wave. So really nothing has been spoiled.

Since 0.10$ it is often seen as a good price to part ratio, 73 pieces for 20$ seems expensive. However, 4+ sets use larger pieces (containing more plastic) than most sets and therefore, the bad price to part ratio is somewhat justified.

But it is a homecoming set. Look at the gold seal on the box.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These sets look amazing!! We need more imaginative Spider Suits like the one in the Homecoming set! I wish the red and black Spidey suit wasn't coming in a 4 plus set, I can't imagine buying that set, even if just for the minifigs..

Ahh, you're right! I didn't see that and assumed it was a multiverse setting from the third movie featured in that set. That is kind of weird then, though "inspired by" can mean a very loose interpretation of what transpired in the first movie.

I think the point of the set is to be a throwback that isn’t 100% accurate. Ninjago Legacy is similar; the sets are remakes or throwbacks, but the minifigures hace changed and details of the scene have changed. This set appears to combine Vulture from Homecoming, a spider-man suit from No Way Home, and an imagined vehicle in an awesome little set.
