Armourer figure feels like it is missing something.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

When images initially surfaced online I was fully expecting this to be a £40 set, so that price is a nice surprise.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Those stickers will be... fun... to put on.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Nice price point. This is the way!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Am I going to spend $30 USD on three minifigs? Sure looks like it!

It’s the fur on the shoulders. There are several great fur pieces, but they would not work with the helmet. Element 27315 which was used on the Penguin or 26066 which was used on Kraven. I also thought the horns were gold instead of black.

The Penguin fur piece could work well if it fits with the helmet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That's kind of a redundant title. At least it's not called "The Armourer's Mandalorian Armoury"

Not without a Dremel tool, it won't.

The fabric element used by the Range Troopers would work. Not exactly accurate but better than nothing.

The set name printed on the box certainly is -- a u.

Gravatar
By in United States,

i guessed they were going to use that armor piece for the heavy guy. that looks great.

And the war rages on...

Too many great sets to get already, I think I'll have to pass on this one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the unprinted helmet. Was hard to tell if it was printed or not in the blurry images.

Paz also looks great

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

They should have a set of stormtrooper legs disappearing down the forge...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think this set is Great! I will be picking it up soon!

Like a fur collar?

Gravatar

Trooper for torture not included, see 75311

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I think those 4 stickers surrounding the fourge will be a bit hard to apply. Looks like a fun set, nice minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Broom included, broom boy not included.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really like this one. The broom on the wall is a nice touch. Also, @Huw , this is filed under “Set Review” instead of “New Sets”

Gravatar

too bad there's no camtono

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey lego, that is NOT a mudhorn, and the other thing is NOT a holocron.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like this will be a Target exclusive in the US. Just placed my preorder!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This just looks like my bedroom.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are the jet pack and beskar pieces pearl dark gray? I like the flat silver versions a little better I think. I’ll just keep using those. Looking forward to this set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is that a crossfire gun? I always wondered what it looked like to get caught in that stuff..

@Huw:
Maundalorian? Mandaulorian? Ah, you know what? There’s five “u”s on the box front already. It’d be a shame to waste a sixth.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am very interested in this!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks sweet—I hope Paz Viszla can be modded to have a chain from blaster to jetpack like Baze Malbus.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is the forge itself Mandalorian? Is the armourer forging Mandalorians? Does she have a non-Mandalorian forge out the back? Or should it be an unwieldy ‘The Armourer’s Mandalorian Armour Forge’?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The price is a pleasant surprise, I was expecting £40 at least.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow this looks great however I do not like the fact that the uk price point on these kind of sets is creeping from 24.99 to 27.99

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

So $10 per figure plus extra bits.

Nice? To me this looks like a 20 Euro set, and that's a stretch already. Three minifigures and some skeletal side builds with as few pieces as possible, for 30 Euro?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

That Paz Vizsla minifig looks magnificent.

Maundaulouriueun, and then just change the sidebar to say:

Huh. I guess there were six “u”s after all. But Maundaulouriueun only uses five. What to do, what to do... Oh, I know!

By in United States,

I love it! Admittedly, I was already going to buy the set when the minifig images leaked months back. I think it's a worthy adaptation although the missing stormtroopers are disappointing. That way kids can recreate iconic scenes with the Armorer... That being said I actually am glad that there aren't any stormtroopers in the set as that would knock up the price tag for garbage looking helmets. I do find the jetpack choice a little perplexing. Did they do that for the Trouble on Tatooine set as well? It just looks wrong since it's supposed to match his other armor. The Armorer also needs her fur collar somehow, and Paz needs his special rangefinder... I'll still pick this up at some point as I can always use more Mandos and I want those recolored fire elements.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Will be buying this, have been waiting for these figures. Just noticed, whilst cross-checking Mando's appearance against previously released figures that on the main image for 75299, provided by Lego I guess, Mando's pulse rifle is assembled incorrectly with the handgrip of the blaster pistol inserted into the lightsabre, sorry lightsaber hilt piece ... do I win a prize?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cool set with nice details. Crap price.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice. Looks like I have a lot of great sets to buy on my birthday.

Gravatar
By in United States,

WTH stickers on slopes??? Come on TLG, you've greatly disappointed me now. Those are not going to age well applied to a rough surface like that.

This set will definitely warrant a feedback survey.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I'm a sucker for Mandalorians, so I'm probably going to get this.

The jetpack is objectively wrong and that's pretty disappointing. Also, there's no jetpack in the Trouble on Tatooine set, so this was the one opportunity and it's blown.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Loving the Holo-Mando. I may buy it just for that.

I prefer the black face. It keeps the neck looking clean. Maybe they could do something like the 2012 storm trooper (SW0366) though, where his face looked like it had a black hood around it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The fur cape from Hun Warrior (COL180), I think, would work well with the armorer.

Mando is about to shoot himself in the foot

Gravatar
By in France,

Excellent little play set and little display piece. The amount of details is impressively high for the scale. I love the blue flames and the armourer helmet. She just misses a real furr cape. And two brand exclusive and desirable minifigs for 30 euros ? On my wishlist.

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

Can't wait to get one for my kid and one for me, of course!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not a star wars guy but there are some interesting parts here, the blue flames, the printless helmet, that blue armor..

seems like a pretty nice little set, but.. 30 dollars?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are the Beskar ingots black? I would think they would be silver or gray.

I think they are Pearl dark gray(same color as super battle droids). It would make the most sense as that is the color of the blank Mando helmet and unfortunately, Mando's jetpack in this set. They should have been pearl light gray(flat silver I think?) as that would make it look more accurate to the show.

"Why do we keep getting star wars sets in drips now? where's the huge autumn wave?"

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking why we are getting one set released at a time? All of the sets revealed this summer are going to be realeased September 1st(I think August 1st for you Brits). This is a part of a nine set(I believe that's the number) wave. Everything else has already been revealed. This was the final set in the wave.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love it! Mando has his jetpack at last! I was disappointed he didn't have it in 75299 . I love the Paz fig too. The Armourer is missing a fur cape though. A definite buy. Can't wait for the review!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I suppose a Mandalorian image on a brick isn’t preferable to a new hologram mold, but it’s still cool. The blue flames are nice too.

27325 I think - you're right, wouldn't work with the helmet. I think 26066 might though, there's a different gap at the front. The cape from the series 14 (not 15, oops) collectable minifigure 'Spectre' might do if you cut it down (heresy?) - 22656.

I like this. This feels reasonable.

I know what you mean. Mando should definitely have his face in some of the new sets.
