Another Batmobile Tumbler revealed!
Posted by Huw,
Japanese retailer Yodobashi has published pictures of another Tumbler!
The 422-piece 76239 Batmobile Tumbler Scarecrow Showdown, which is released on 1st October, looks to be minifig-scale and comes with Batman and Scarecrow minifigs. It's priced at 6000 yen, which is about £40 / $55.
Unfortunately the images are miniscule so it's not possible to discern much detail.
Thanks to Robert at Promobricks for the news.

For the first time ever, we get a Nolan-verse Scarecrow minifigure. Scarecrow is my favorite Batman villain of all time. This is incredible!
Neat, but 55 USD? Will be waiting for this one to go on discount
On Amazon on their Lego Store page there is a picture with "Pre-order" for both the minifig and large scale Tumblers. When clicked it shows "Page not found" So hopefully we will be able to pre-order it!
With all of this info leaking today, could there be a tie in with tonight's episode of "Lego Masters" in the U.S?
I like it quite alot I prefer this one, sorta minifig scale, over ucs one.
Ha! One I can afford.
Two iconic minifigure-scale movie Batmobiles in one year? Yes, please!
Actually the more I look, the more I love this one. Compact, but still very well detailed for the scale it's at.
Tumbler looks appropriate and day one purchase but god damn it I was hoping for Lucius Fox or Two-Face. Also, only 2 figs for 400+ pieces set? come on!

For comparison, other sets costing around ¥ 6000 include 76190 Iron Man: Iron Monger Mayhem, so I would anticipate a retail price of around £34.99 or $39.99.
Well, there's Scarecrow!
Now just Gordon, Dent, Rachel and/or Ra's Al Guhl.
Minifig scale all the way. I like they included that black Batman monster face of when Crane tasted his own fear gas.
Although I'd like more minifigs, the build is what I've been waiting for! I hope it's cheaper than $55.
The Brick Fan has a picture of the back of the box.
I'm just glad its not a GWP for the UCS model.
Is that Batman the same figure as the old UCS Tumbler? If so, it'll be nice to have a duplicate of that face, since I'm pretty sure it only ever got used in that one. Also, love that it has an alternate fear gas head for Batman.

My thoughts exactly! I don’t need the giant one but I would love a small one for a diorama display. This is perfect.
First the minifigure scale gwp 89 batmobile, then the 66 one, and now the tumbler? What minifigure scale movie batmobile is next? Personally, I would like the DCEU one, as I never got the one from 2016.
I’m surprised Lego didn’t put the Scarecrow in the large Tumbler and Joker in this Minifig scale one.
But happy they didn’t. As I’ll be getting this one!
Already have Heath Ledger Joker that I bought separately from the original Tumbler.
Cool, and at a vastly more affordable, accessible price point than the 2000-piece one just announced!….
But still UGLY as sin!
:)

I think there's a rumor that 2022 The Batmen set may contain a DCEU one.
This can't be $55?!
Believe Gordon came in the TDKR set with Bane, his Tumbler, Batman and The Bat.
@Nokturn :
Now we just need Ra’s al Ghul (real one and fake one), Two-Face, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. We already have Joker, Bane, and Gordon.
@legowerba :
I hear the guy who played Batman will be hosting tonight!
@BaneShake :
The good news for people who missed the big Tumbler and never picked up the minifigs is that this only the second Batman Begins Batman (the new large Tumbler has the Dark Knight Batman costume). The good news for anyone who did get the previous big Tumbler or picked up the minifigs, even though the res isn’t great, I can see two obvious differences in the belt. As one would expect following a 7-year gap, this is a new minifig. And yes, the previous one did have an exclusive head. So did the 2011 SDCC TDK Batman.
@jmennino:
That is correct. He came in his SWAT vest.
Back to the white headband for Batman?! Yuck. I’m sure a lot of you feel nostalgic for that look but the goggle design is a better solution.
Finally a redesign for a proper minifig scale tumbler! (the tiny one in the The Bat set is rather....tiny)
The front wheels are too small by proportion.... an obvious modification task.
Now give us a bat pod.
Gotta love how this one is just straight up better than the UCS rerelease
55? Hoped for 40
I don’t buy DC movie-based sets (though SHAZAM! might’ve been an exception) so now there are only four chances left (and one is a polybag) for some comics-based DC sets with more variety than just the Batman family and the Gotham supervillains.
Come on LEGO I want some cool DC sets on which to spend some money!

And Talia and Selina! I think Dent should've come in the new D2C Tumbler but at least we got Gordon in 2013.
Well now I want to get this and the UCS version. This is how it must feel to be a LEGO Star Wars fan...
I like the Tumbler, but I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get a mask for Scarecrow, only a face-print.
There it is! I'm looking foward to this one!
This is the Tumbler I've been waiting for since «Batman Begins»! It's perfect :D
I absolutely love it but really hoped it would have a display plinth like the 66 and 89 minifig scale ones. Still an auto buy for me.

Still better than 7888. It's MiSB on bricklink for $850! Fortunately, I was able to get this set before it hit such crazy prices.
@MusiMus:
7888 is also bigger than many “minifig-scale” building sets. Not counting the flick-fire missile launchers on the side (which add two studs to the width), that version is 18 studs wide, and should have enough room inside to seat at least 20 minifigs.

The Tumbler wasn’t actually that large (search images of Batman standing next to the Tumbler). The Bat set Tumbler was roughly the correct size, though maybe a tad bit small. This, on the other hand, is HUGE.
Not convinced? The film prop was a mere 4.62 metres long.
@ TheRightP_art:
Between most superhero sets, and current Speed Champions, I think people are used to the idea of tank-sized cars, so something that looks like an actual tank (according to 1 out of 2 cops) would need to be proportionally larger to look in scale. But yes, all you have to do is look up MOCs of the Tumbler in minifig scale to see that this is a bit on the large size. I haven’t started on one at all, but I was thinking of going 10-wide at the back end (two studs per tire, plus two for the jet nozzle and rear frame), and just the roof over the cab on this is eight studs wide. Consider how many people refuse to grow out of 4-wide go-carts, and this would look like it should be carrying a rocket to the launch pad.
The cost in the US is $40. Not bad! https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/lego-dc-batman-batmobile-tumbler-scarecrow-showdown-76239
Wow, that looks great! There have been a couple of minifig-scale Tumblers, but none of them have really been perfect. This one looks great—plenty of interior space for two passengers, great geometry for things like the windows, and paneling that finally manages to convey the (extremely subtle) bat motif of the original movie vehicle.
Tough call on this set. Love to have a Mini-fig tumbler. However, after purchasing 76001, I built a Black/Grey/Blue version of the tumbler from there. Definitely not as nice as this.
What's Garmadon's head doing in a batman set?
... and now let's hope for a (re)release of the 1989 batmobile that actually can be bought ( not GWP)

I thought the same thing! It’s supposed to be Batman’s head from the scene where he fear gasses Scarecrow.
I'm interested in comparing this Tumbler with the one from 7888

I’ve actually built my own version of the Tumbler, and I concede that cramming all of the nooks and crannies into a “true” minifigure scale LEGO model is near impossible, not to mention being restricted to legal building techniques. My MOC is a little over minifigure scale; however to keep it at a reasonable size and retain the level of detail, I’ve had to massively sacrifice durability and playability (the back wheels can’t even roll).
Here’s the free instructions in case anybody is interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17N-dNtKiKxXxN3ZlhTYo6A-z5kLHwN8G/view?usp=drivesdk
For the scale it's a pretty good likeness and huge improvement on 7888 , and the roof is hinged so should be able to get the minifigs in and out easily. Shame there is no secondary farm vehicle for the Scarecrow for batman to chase, e.g. harvester or tractor!
U.S. LEGO shop has this and the Collector Series version up for pre-order

There is an error in the official products renders. Two black 1x1 bricks are "flying" behind the rooftop on the right side. These bricks are missplaced. It's an minor mistake. I've noticed this trying to understand the building technics. It's an amazing set that I've been wating for it for years.
This is the first system scale black tumbler since 2008. One of the best decisions by lego this year. Hard to believe they make this less than 10 cent per piece consider this is 2021.

It looks like there's a red X above a https://brickset.com/parts/design-37494 and a circle around a black 1x2 brick, both of which appear in every other photo. I'm afraid I can't see the 1x1s you're referencing

On the first picture, on the red X, there are two misplaced parts. On the red circle there isn't these parts. It's assimetrical.
Ont the second picture, on the red circle, there are two misplaced parts again.
(Heavy Sigh)...But I already HAVE a 'Tumbler', two in fact: Original first release, and the 'Tan' in in 'The Bat' set...at this point, I wish TLG would do an '80/'Super Friends' Batmobile (which was dark blue):

Beyond that: More REGULAR DC stuff...yesh:| (*COUGH*DCCMF2*COUGH*)
@sammoretto :
Okay, I see what’s going on. What you’re referring to are 1x1 _plates_, not bricks. Saying bricks has people looking for stuff that’s simply not there, and missing the plates. I was looking at the XO picture and still couldn’t see them, but I finally did on the O picture.
@fakespacesquid :
It’s easier to see on the second picture with just an “O” mark. Look for the black pantograph shoe. In between the tines on the starboard side there’s a 1x1 plate, and there’s another one slightly forward of the shoe. These two pieces are shifted about 1.5 studs to the left of where they should be located. On both sides there’s an armor plate that’s SNOT-built with a black grilled cheese, and four gold clips to mount spoilers. In the starboard armor plate, you can see the matching gaps where those plates should be located, right next to the gold clip plates.
Here’s the messy part. You can see this in more images, including the one at the top of the article, where it’s clear that these plates are simply missing from the port armor plate altogether.
The two side windows appears to be built in an interesting way.
