So with these number of minifigs per boxes, they're back at having 2 or 3 full sets in each? Only the Mario ones were weird?

Vidiyo Bandmates Series 2??? I thought LEGO had shelved these, at least temporarily... This is the first time I've seen them for sale anywhere.

Asda near Ikea in Bristol had the label on on the shelf last week, next to the BeatBox sets reduced to £5, which clearly said Series 2 but sadly didn't have any for sale. They were priced at £3.99.

I've just ordered both which works out at £3.20 ish per minifigure after Brickset discount, postage and Stripe fee applied. As previous orders with these they are pre-orders, so won't be posted until mid October. I've used them a few times now.

A lot of stores have them announced. The official statement is that everything Vidiyo for after 2021 is shelved and on the redesign table, mostly due to the app, but it might be back in 2023 after a year of pause. Since the Bandmates 2 were probably all designed and already in production, it was probably worth distributing them anyways rather than cancelling them altogether.

I for one am really happy to see them!

Walmart in the US (Ohio) has these on sale, laughably for full price at $20.

Are you hoping to sell completes sets of Bandmates Series 2 once you have yours? Excuse the potentially clumsy question here, but buying at £3.20 a piece are you able to turn a decent profit? Or do you buy bulk mainly to guarantee a full set for yourself?

Again, apologies if this is a faux pas, but I've only just started being interested in single figure packs when the Vidiyo and Mario themes started getting discounted in the UK. I've completely ignored the CMF lines as I've always considered them very expensive, and one that I was given a long time ago seemed to be made of cheaper plastic. I do see the attraction now though, and some of the Bandmates look great.

For me it's to guarantee a full set. I have a second of the first Bandmates I'm not sure what to do with, since I could keep them for extras or resell later.

Otherwise, as soon as opened, most minifigs go for like 6-7$ each, and more if they're more desirable, so it's almost the same price as buying two full sets "blind".

By in United Kingdom,

Difficult question, unsure if there is that much demand for Vidiyo at the moment, but who knows in the future rarity once discontinued may make collectors go mad, or there will be less interest than there is now apart from the one-off mini-figs with teddy bear or dragon heads?

The minifigs were the best (and only really good) thing about Vidiyo. I'm actually super-glad that they really are releasing the second series of them. I can't wait.

I do it so I can get all the figs. With the normal CMF's I have a friend that buys a complete set from me, so it's basically teaming up to get the good price. Done this with a few of the series. Unfortunately they now make you buy two boxes minimum, so I should get six complete sets. I do have a Bricklink store which the duplicates go on - as soon as I get a duplicate it's into a click seal bag and boxed for when (if) it sales. The parents in my son's class also know I sell them, so do get to offload some that way too.

I decided to switch to the buying of boxes as I was hopeless at feeling the packs and ended up buying more than in a box overall anyway, so this larger sum in one hit actually seems a better deal to me.

I'm also in the process of trying to extend my house to have an office / Lego room built so some of the extra's might one day be used in a city lay out!

There’s actually a far better deal for UK buyers at WHSmiths, I got a full marvel box there for £95 including shipping

By in United Kingdom,

I had an email this morning to say my order for Vidiyo Series 2 Band Mates has been cancelled. It's a shame as I have all of Series 1 and all bar one of the sets too. Hopefully Lego keep hold of these until they re-release the line and I can get them at a later date.
