Gotta love Belville. Too bad this trellis part wasn’t made more widely available in other colours though. I am sure it would be great in cities for fast wall building along highways for example, and perhaps as scaffolding. Unless you’re in Heartlake City, in which case this is fine for that.
Edit: that set this was in? That high chair!
That reminds me, time for some grated cheese on toast...
The real question is: are these for keeping My Dad in, or out?
A belville piece appears on rpotd while a belville set appears on rsotd.
All in all, it was all just bricks in the wall
All in all, you were all just bricks in the wall
People give large parts a lot of flack, but this would do great for building a giant lattice fence quickly and cheaply if it was more widely available
Further to my original observations I discovered that the high chair is based upon the Stokke design; my bad. Also, these lattice pieces would be great in a wine cellar or for the general storing of bottles.
Our first Belville part in Random Part of the Day?
Welcome to “why all your sets come with stickers”. One-time use molds like this is what drove them to the point of posting annual losses, which led to the current rules that restrict the use of printed parts.
The set this was in also had a potty!
Wow this part is huge! And exclusive too
I recognize this part right off the bat because ellieV (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjkTKBZSZKw) and For Bricks and Giggles (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he_8lNtJyT0) reviewed the set.
It seems that BrickTsar has reviewed it too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7FcJy6C8-0), in fact more time has passed since his review than how long ago the set was released at the time he reviewed it!
If Donald Trump had a young daughter...
I have some in white, so was a bit surprised to see that "It was made in 1 colour".
It was actually used in six other Belleville sets in two other colours (white and dark pink) from 1994 to 1998.

Likely a different ID. This part was in 2008 while the others appeared in sets in 1994 to 1998.
If we’ve got BURPs for when they’re rocks, what’s a good acronym for an enormous trellis? Big Ugly Roof/Trellis for BURT doesn’t quite feel like it fits

Same Design-ID, at least according to Brickset, Bricklink and Rebrickable. ;)
The part is completely missing in some Brickset inventories where it should be (5876 ) but is shown in others (5895 ).

Yeah, on those other sets the part links to Rebrickable, whereas on 7586 it links to its own page on Brickset. I guess the RPOTD algorithm can only check official LEGO inventories`?
Some really nice accessory pieces in those Belville sets... Also, nice to see those accessories closer to scale in relation to the figs (not that I particularly mind baby bottles and wine glasses the size of torsos in the regular system...!).
If I shove a potato through this, I could make some fries!
