Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms revealed

Images of a forthcoming gift with purchase have surfaced on LEGO.com. In Europe, 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms will be free with Harry Potter purchases exceeding €100 from 25th October to 7th November.
It was advertised on the US store calendar as being available for a similar period but has since been removed, so I suspect the promotion will be delayed in North America.
The set contains short-legged versions of Harry and Ron, four of the collectable printed tiles, and appears to connect to other HP sets released this year.

Hot-diggity, those canopy\bunk bed builds are brilliant!
Heyy, it seems that wall has the perfect number of studs to fit all 16 collectable tiles! Not that I’m into collecting them, but it’s nice of them to offer this option.
I'm not sure whether to start down the path of collecting those 2x2 tiles with the characters on. Does the Hogwarts Icons set come with any of the tiles? There seems to be 21 tiles total in all the other sets combined, plus however many you get in this GWP. It doesn't seem like a huge number for someone hoping to get all 16 different tiles.

Likewise, I have all the HP sets already and don’t need to double up.
Will this be available in the UK as well as mainland Europe?
Had hoped for a minifig scale portrait, of the fat lady for this promo. Now I can easily pass on this.

With the North American (and other areas) delay. I have a feeling it will be a GWP in January when the other new releases HP sets drop. That way people that already have the new wave don’t have to double up to get a GWP and it puts some stress relief on their distribution

I wish they’d shown us the back of the build, so we’d know if it fits nicely with the remainder of the castle.

You could always get another Hogsmeade Village Visit or 2 and use it to build other Hogsmeade buildings. BenBuildsLEGO has a couple of rebuilds, one that only uses pieces from the set and a Zonko's that just needs a handfull of red bricks. And I have made MOCs of Wiseacre's, Ollivanders, Hog's Head Inn, Owl Post, and a few more. I am ready to buy another couple of Hogsmeade sets!

Sweet! This is the most appealing GWP I've seen in awhile. I assume the North American release will be delayed until Black Friday. I've been putting off buying Hogsmeade & the Chamber of Secrets sets, looks like that time is coming! (Eventually...)
As long as it's available in Europe on the 25th, I'm fine.
I knew I did well in leaving some of the Harry Potter sets for a later date.
This better be only with the purchase of HP sets, it'd be messed up to include them with all purchases without asking to someone who disagrees vehemently with Rowling

You get a decent idea from the inset picture which shows the removable tile wall.

Lego doesn’t give a megablocks about us Aussies and they haven’t for years. We only just started getting lego stores a few years ago, and they never have enough stock. And then of course the countless backpedals on the “no regional exclusive” promise. Just accept that as an Aussie there will be some sets you’ll never get.

I really hope they’re canopy beds. Otherwise, the only thing harder than the long fall when you roll over in the middle of the night is that plank you have to sleep on with no bedding or pillows. Plus, it’d suck to be top bunk if you haven’t learned any flying/levitation spells, since there aren’t any ladders.

Heck or high water, I'm getting this. Not typically a fan of the Gryffindor dorms but this is by far the best rendition and I love modularity!
Where though, oh where, is the Gryffindor Common Room?? They've done the dorms three or four times since the last common room :(
I was so excited to order that too. :( It's probably another casualty of the shipping delays here in the USA.
No thanks, I am boycotting HP sets to protest against the fact Hermione ends up with Ron instead of Harry (even JK Rowling regrets it...)
I guess I will wait on the 2021 sets until it is no longer delayed in US. It isn't the best set ever, but it's free LEGO so if I'm ordering from LEGO (and paying full price), I want a deal.
I buy nearly every product in that bleeping HP line…not available to me because of my location? LEGO can suck it sometimes, they really can.
