Inside Tour registration begins next week
Posted by Huw,After a 2-year hiatus, LEGO Inside Tours are returning in 2022, and you'll be able to register to attend from next Tuesday, October 26 at 10am CEST.
Four tours will take place, in May, June, August and September. At 14,500DKK (~£1700 / ~US$2200) they are expensive but, as every participant will tell you, worth every penny.
We've posted loads of articles about them over the years so take a look if you want to find out more.
A link to the registration form will be placed on this page on the LEGO House website on Tuesday, but note that places are no longer allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, so there's no immediate hurry: you have until the 29th to put your name down.

The tour itself, I echo the thoughts as to worth every penny and more. Obviously for some people it's not only a large cost but that's before factoring in travel costs on top.
If I thought for a moment I could be selected again after my 2019 tour i'd sign up for sure but I think there's an informal ban on "returnees" within 5 years or at least that's what someone said on the tour - so may not be true.
Is that per person?
I was selected for a tour in 2020, and you all know how that turned out. LEGO has been good enough to hold a spot for me, so crossing fingers I'll be going in June. If there are others out there like myself, this may mean fewer open spots to be filled this application period.
i might go to the lego house (in person) in 2022
This is at the top of my wishlist!
Since the tour includes accommodation, if a person goes by themselves are they assigned a "roommate" for the hotel? The tour price is a bit hard to digest for my SO, who doesn't really care about LEGO.
Someday... [dreams wistfully...]
(It's not so much the money...it's traveling with a pre-schooler that makes it hard for me. Maybe when he's older.)
We were lucky enough to do it in 2018. Absolutely amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Would love to be in Denmark right now...
I hope they are able to accommodate everyone who missed out in 2020.

No, you'll get your own room. The price remains the same. My wife doesn't care that much either but loved the experience when we did it in 2013.

That's what I was told. They'd deselect us straight away. Only fair to be honest to make sure that as many people can experience this as possible. I told them I'll be back in a few years with the kids, once they can appreciate it....and understand English.
And I'll confirm Huws statement: It is worth every penny, cent, kronen etc.
"While we here at TLG try to project an image of inclusivity and equality, this only applies to ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity. When it comes to the socioeconomic front, we are STRICTLY elitists and absolutely NO plebs are allowed on the Inside Tour, hence the 14,500DKK price tag. Suck it, losers!"
This is definitely on my wishlist. But traveling overseas by myself is a daunting task. I’ve hardly traveled within this country let alone overseas. I’m afraid I’d be too afraid.

Is it really only five years? I thought it was permanent. It would be so, so amazing to go again!!

I concur with this. My husband, a decided non-AFOL, came with me on the Tour in 2015. He enjoyed the experience (almost) as much as I did. I would love to go again (my husband has said he's good with experiencing it once).
I would encourage anyone who can afford to, to consider attending alone even if they don’t have another half or child that wants to go with them. I did and it was still fantastic and easy to get to know everyone in your group socially. Whilst the tour days are happening it’s so jam packed that you won’t have a huge amount of time on your own anyway.
Plus - you can go with a partner or family staying in your Inside Tour hotel room, but not actually attending the tour. A couple of the attendees on my tour were doing this - while they were touring, their family were having fun in Legoland or at the nearby Lalandia water park/leisure complex.

I believe the minimum age is 7 when I checked it out a few years ago. So that gives you plenty of time to plan and save for an incredible holiday around it.

You're right! We should boycott this fascist kapitalistic company until they price this and the Titanic at €100, including the price for my living room extension so I can actually house it.
I will start the boycott immediately... After the Halloween and Christmas sales.
JOIN ME BROTHERS! We demand affordable Lego and will stop buying until they hear us! Ow, after the 2022 modular of course, can't miss that. OUR VOICE WILL BE HEARD!!!!
I did the tour in 2019 and me (a superfan) and my wife (a moderate fan) loved it. I saved up for it for a while, but it was worth every cent. You are really treated like a VIP. I'll give one example:
At the beginning of the tour we built a minifigure version of ourselves. Most of the people were wearing jeans, but there weren't enough blue minifig pants for everyone. Someone mentioned this to the staff and at lunch everyone got a little bag with a set of minifig pants in all shades of blue in production at that time.
Just small things that make you feel valued. I would absolutely love to do it again, but I won't (even if it was allowed) because I don't want to make it even harder for someone else to take it. Every year there are far more signups than there are spots. Even at that price.

Are the rooms big enough for 3 people?

I see a few comments mentioning spouses that attended. I had been wondering if you had a roommate or your own room. My question is, are the rooms big enough for 3 people to stay in?

Yes, I think you are usually given a premium family room overlooking the park. If you attend on your own, you'll have your own room. If you apply and attend as a couple, you'll share a room. If you brink kids along too you'll also all share a room.
And... the registration form is down.
Lego at its best.
