See? This guy's more honest - he's only a SINGLE-crosser. He wouldn't frame innocent Technic beams, only guilty ones who thought they could trust him. This guy took out Znap, folks.

I’ve met lots of cross holes in my life. Hate those guys.

I’ve been meaning to pick up some of these. I’ve wanted a part like this since the original 3x3 cylinder part from the original X-Wing.

It’s just such a great space part!

I have met a few axle holes in my day, as well.

I want this in black. And white. And I want it in black again to use as 3 stud wide masts on boats. brown too, would be nice.

I'd be cross also if I was stuck inside that trash bin.

This looks like it was designed to make Minions goggles, and yet it has never been used in that capacity.

Nah, it's a bit too deep to work well for Minion goggles. It's twice as deep as the 4x4 goggle piece used in the Brick Built Minions set but only 3/4 as wide!

This part was most likely introduced primarily to replace 93168 on the new X-Wing. And what an improvement it is! The old part was incredibly specialized, with some very odd and hard-to-neatly-fill gaps. This new part can be SNOTted for the same essential connection points on the front, but with WAY more versatility for other purposes!

In addition to the current colors this comes in, it shows up in teal in the newly announced Monkie Kid Galactic Explorer set, which I'm super excited for!

@Lyichir:
The design aesthetic is similar enough that I suspect they modeled the Minion goggle parts after this to basically turn them into a family of part designs. It might be amusing to see what a Minion looks like with these for goggles, but the entire body would need to be scaled down...or you’d have to call it Otto.

I wouldn't really consider the aesthetic all that similar, apart from them being round parts with a center cavity. The Minion goggle pieces (68325 and 68327) have thick 1/2 module "rims" that allow the interior cavity to be filled completely (with 3x3 and 4x4 round parts, respectively). This piece's rim has very little thickness and the recess is deeper, much more like the earlier X-Wing engine piece that it's emulating.
