What an amazing piece. Introduced for Bionicle, yes, but it's become common in sets, System and Technic alike. Super useful, there was even an opposite-style version made! https://brickset.com/parts/design-10288
I'm out of double-crosser jokes. Anyone got any ideas?

@huw Is it possible to add some code that would tell me (as I’m logged in) how many of these pieces I have? But then hide that text if you aren’t logged in?
Love this daily pieces :)
This piece is awesome. I ordered a bunch in bulk and made some repeating geometric / honeycomb designs that you can't usually pull off with Lego. (Although honestly I thought it came out in 2008. Somehow missed the 2007 sets it appeared in.)
An amazingly useful part, though I wish it came in a colour other than light bluish gray. Like perhaps black... and white.
I also have been wishing for a part like this for MANY years. Imagine this, but with just one axle, not three. WHY DOESN'T A PART LIKE THAT EXIST!?!?!?!
@Saffroth:
10288 spins freely on an axle or pin, while this only fits an axle through the center.
Used well in 8056
Cross axle, cross hole, double-cross block…why are the random pieces so angry lately?

No jokes needed. This is a great piece!
@Bhahouighf:
Still has three arms, still uses axle connections on the arms, and still has the same basic dimensions. So it’s not opposite in _every_ way.

Yeah, like it's not made of antimatter, for example.
ElephantKnight you could use 22961 as beam with single axle, or more common 6553 with 1.5 axle. Personally, find 10197 with 2 perpendicular axles or 27940 with 2 linear axles more useful than this part with 3. One day maybe 4 perpendicular axles could be useful?

Touché. This piece is great for even System/Technic hybrid builds!

Ideal for the "one piece Star Wars Imperial Shuttle challenge"
