A great piece! Beats using a 1-tile plus a 2-tile, and it's also excellent for locking weird shapes into place while retaining a clean look.

We have collected 8 million of this part wow!

By in Canada,

Though only 3 equal squares instead of 4, this piece always makes me think of TETRIS. Cue Russian music, please.

By in United States,

This is one of the pieces with the most noticeable manufacturing blemishes.

Let me tell you that it was love at first sight when I saw this in 70816

As with the 1x3, 2x3, and 2x4 tiles, as well as the double cheese wedge, the introduction of this part resulted in me having to do a lot of part swaps on existing MOCs. I don’t think I own a single 2x6 tile, though.

Hue it’s first smoothie pick. I think smoothies are my favourite pieces.

Revolutionary. So many corner elements are missing from the Lego library.

By in Italy,

i don't think i've ever had this. But it seems really useful.

I love this post each day, it's like a trip to memory lane :)

Is it possible to also mention the last set that used the part, in addition to the first ?

By in Germany,

Extremely useful piece.

There are lots of pieces in the current inventory where I have no clue why they exist.
This definitely isn't one of those.

This is one of those pieces where it’s shocking we only got it as late as 2014

I wouldn't encounter this piece until three years after its introduction - end of 2017, when I was wrenched out of my 'dark age' (or 'dark-ish age', as I'd been sort of poking out of it ever since the Disney CMF wave, but hadn't committed to buying anything more than a single minifigure of the series) by receiving BB-8, 75187, as an unexpected Christmas present. He contains eight of them, apparently, though I couldn't tell you, off the top of my head, exactly where in his design any of them were placed!

I think my reaction was mostly along the lines of amazement that so many new parts had been introduced to the system in the years I'd been gone from it, so this one didn't stand out specifically above any of the other new-to-me parts. I can certainly see how it's highly useful, though.

By in Netherlands,

The piece is great, used a lot when there's a removable roof or floor in some building set these days, to have a study corner.

I like the newer version of this with the little 45 degree corner as well :

By in Slovenia,

Surprised this was only introduced in 2014. I would have guessed that it's much older than that, like at least a decade.

I love this piece. Whenever I'm building a modular, and this corner tile secures two perpendicular walls that were previously loose, it's the most satisfying feeling.

Unlike those surprised this piece is so new, I'm surprised it's so old! This feels like something I still have only a few of, that should have been new around, oh... 2017 or so.

But time means nothing and age wears eternal.

@ThatBionicleGuy:
I’m pretty sure the reason the Beach Ball comes with 8 of these is the “Kick Me” sign R2 taped to the back of his head.

Super useful tile, I always need more in Black and white.
