Happy shopping everyone and "May the Force [and patience] be with You" with your [hopefully painless] AT-AT acquisition :)
Why isn't it Brick Friday, as it was in the past?
Any discounted sets? Or is it just the offers we already knew about?

I think they're holding details of some of the offers in order to surprise us. At least, I hope they are given the thin pickings currently announced.

On Australia page, there are several sets with 20% sale, for example Technic Ferrari and Mos Eisley Cantina. Personally I am hoping for discount on Technic Defender in next two days.
I just went on the LEGO Australia site to see what was on sale. There appears to be many sets on sale for 20% off. The Star Wars Cantina is on sale for 20% off. Nothing special is on sale, but I may have missed something. I was hoping for 30% or 40% off, but I didn't see anything. In the U.S., the sales may be different but many of the sets offered on LEGO for sale can be found on Amazon for 30% or more at different times during the year.

Doubt it will be cheaper than retailers at the min (around 80 quid)

Yes, not really interested in offers on anything other than D2C sets.... A reduction on Colosseum or World Map would be handy.
TITANIC and Home Alone STILL OUT OF STOCK, Grrrr!!!

There is currently 15% off the World Map at John Lewis so it is down to £195.49.

I was told by an employee at my local Lego store that we can expect Queer Eye to have something like a 3x VIP points "discount".
If Mos Eisley is offered on sale at a discount in the US I will probably end up getting it but not planning to wait for the blanket gwp. Most everything else on my wishlist is currently still showing out of stock. Not pulling the trigger on anything unless it is discounted.
No VIP daily rewards this year?
For some rewards it was a more cost effective way than ordering VIP discount.
Don’t think I’ll bother this year. Did really well with the Argos discounts with the extra 20% off so virtually got Darth Vader Helmet and HP sets half price - the threshold for Santa’s yard is way too high
Thank you for waiting.
Due to high demand you have been placed in a queue to visit LEGO.com

just looked at the deals...it is a bit disappointing...Argos, Smyth's, John lewis and amazon they all have better deals/options.

ROFL
Do you know what's on sale in Germany?
20 percent off on select Dots and Vidiyo items (I am not saying "sets", because not even the Vidiyo stages are part of the deals), plus some other assorted shelf huggers no one wanted all year.
Not a single D2C set or anything remotely interesting that can't be had at other retailers for far better discounts.
So, just as expected really.
Most of TLG’s sets on sale in the UK are just Trolls World Tour, Dots and a mish mash of other sets no one desperately wanted. The reductions are ok for most but nothing to set the world alight. The Knights of Ren Transport is £52 instead of £65 and the Mandalorian AT-ST is £40 instead of £50. Perhaps one of the best deals is the Bird of Paradise plant for £63.
More interesting is the ‘almost’ half price £5 VIP vouchers that will be available on Cyber Monday only but the limit is 4 vouchers and they could apparently ‘run out’.
I ask for nothing Master.
And you shall receive it.... in abundance.
Yet again, LEGO's "black Friday" "deals" are pretty awful.
I rather shop locally since apparently every single store is doing better discounts on more sets than LEGO itself.
So when are the VIP coins coming back that Lego promised earlier this year? time is running out for them to release them before the end of the year like Lego stated.
Pretty pathetic. At least Target has/had a ton of stuff on sale. I could have dropped $800 on an AT-AT and gotten a lightsaber, but I can think of a lot of better ways to spend $800.
Nearly everything I want is out of stock. :-(

You guys got really lucky. Nothing at all in the states except for the birds of paradise and the Batman and joker sketches which are going out of print. Sad Black Friday sale
Looks like I’ll be saving my money! Everything I want is out of stock.
Still another 3 days for all the awesome offers to show up......
I'm waiting.....
I'm still waiting........
I bought a couple of sets at other retailers and am happy about those prices.
Creator Expert Mustang 10265 for 95 Euro, Hogwarts Astronomy Tower 75969 for 65 Euro, and Modern City House with EV 60291 for 25 Euro, which is half price. Thank you Amazon et al.
I think someone needs to go over to TLG and explain them what "Black Friday" means. Personally, I don't get it that all this stuff is sold for prices way below anything that would usually provide some margin for profit, but well... If they don't want to join the party, then just don't mention anything on BF, or at least keep expectations low when announcing it, like: "On BF we will be offering a small discount on sets that we won't sell at MSRP otherwise."
Wow, it seems I've been lucky enough to find a 30% (!) discount on 10289 at LEGO,com, one of my favorite sets I didn't feel right spending €100 for. Generally, I agree with most of you: not a great Black Friday this year.
In the U.S., the Black Friday event at LEGO is the most pathetic I have seen in years. The Bird of Paradise is really cool, but other than that set, there is no other set that interests me. It seems the sets they put on sale are ones that are normally found in the sale section during the year. In fact, the Wonder Woman set offered at LEGO for 20% off has been offered on Amazon for 30% for about a month. Last year, the Disney train was offered at a nice discount. No big sets offered this year. Very disappointing. But why would LEGO offer a great deal, when their products are flying off the shelves. There is no incentive to offer a great deal when we are willing to pay whatever LEGO wants us to pay.

I agree. Looking at the sales, I would have no idea it's Black Friday. It just looks like your standard sales section - 20% off some keychains and other sets no one really wants.

You’re right there is no need for them to discount sets, but why advertise it as Black Friday when it is no different from Mediocre Monday? I know it’s not false advertising as they gave no specifics, but it is misleading. Just be honest and call it Full-Price Friday.
Anybody got better luck in the LEGO stores if you don't mind sharing?
Amazon was making me quite happy though. 30% off on Police Station, Space Shuttle, and International Space Station, all sets I've been planning to buy. Pulled the trigger, very pleased. Too bad, LEGO company, you would have had those sales with me if you even had taken 20%off.

Yes, LEGO deals on Black Friday were pretty lame. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much after last year huge disappointment. Luckily for us in Canada Amazon came to the rescue and saved the day with some great deals, very happy with my purchases there.
