Double VIP points at LEGO.com

Posted by ,

From today until the 12th December LEGO VIPs can enjoy double points at LEGO.com on all purchases. Furthermore, 40484 Santa's Front Yard is the gift with purchase again with orders over £/$/€170.

It's perfect timing if you've yet to pick up 75313 AT-AT which, perhaps surprisingly, is still in stock in the UK and Europe.

By in United Kingdom,

If you shop in store in the Uk and spend over £170, you’ll get double points, Santas Front Yard, Skiing Santa poly bag and a scratch card for a free gift ranging from £3.49 to £20.99. That’s an amazing stack. My local store has Home Alone in stock and I’m very tempted!

By in United Kingdom,

I'm all spent out for this year, just nothing to tempt me at the moment.

By in United States,

I’d be tempted if the sets I’d like were in stock…

I'm not seeing this in the USA.

^Perhaps this is an effort to sell more AT-ATs where they haven’t been sold out yet. In Canada I too see the lack of double points.

By in Canada,

I’m not seeing this in Canada either.

Do you think Northern America will see this? Not showing yet.

Not having the 2nd Christmas GWP puts a damper on this.

Seems Lego is having quite the issues with quality control. Seems strange sets can get so far only to get pulled.

By in United States,

Like others I’ve been checking all morning here in the US. Not seeing anything.

By in United Kingdom,

It’s not calculating the extra points in the basket for me. Is it working for other UK people?

By in Canada,

Any luck in Canada? I'm still not seeing the 2x ...

This is only UK, This doesn't apply to the US, I see others looking and commenting. LEGO removed their north America December double VIP days the same time they removed the Santa and Ms. Claus living room GWP. with supply shortages and close to 900 of the total 1,200 sets they have on the website to buy out of stock, they avoided the headache of complaints for not having anything to buy and running promotions.

2x VIP points available for 3 days in Europe and Australia regions, it is not listed for North America.

Santa's Front yard available in EU, not AU or NA.

Skiing Santa polybag available in EU and NA, not AU.

Bummer! Our local LEGO store has several big sets that I want in stock, and I was hoping to take advantage.

By in United States,

Dang, I just bought the roller coaster on Monday. No GWP either.

Wow, I knew a lot of the big sets were OOS, but that is insane.

Managed to finally get The Treehouse on back order with delivery in January! Is it normal for so many sets to be out of stock?

Is anything normal any more?

There's no double points in North America?? That's super irritating. I know lots of sets are out of stock online, but in store is another story.

It's called "the new normal."

I refuse to use that phrase. It’s like saying: “is it 3:00? Yes, but not right now.“

By in United States,

Before I realized this didn't apply in the US I looked through the City sets: 3 are available now, 2 can be backordered, *71* out of stock. That's insane, and I hate not living close to a physical store...

By in United Kingdom,

Just nipped in to grab the newly reduced Seinfeld set- and won a free 40410 Christmas Carol set with their 'scratch card' promo!!

Result!!

I did jokingly ask if the top prize would have been the UCS AT-AT! Haha! But the guy said this was the top prize. Made up with that. :)

This is a UK-based site that graciously posts LEGO news for other countries too. Please do your due diligence and check for yourself before being entitled.

I’m sorry but you’re completely wrong (and rude) here. This site supports a worldwide fan base and it was probably not known at the time that this promotion was going to be regionally disparate. But now that we know, each article should either be reclassified or the narrative updated to reflect the regional differences. I too was confused when I went out looking for the reduced Seinfeld set and/or 2x points.

LEGO has the best customer service. I called asking about missing out on getting double VIP on my recent purchase of the roller coaster. He put me on hold, came back in a jiffy, and credited me 2470 VIP points to “make it right”! Amazing!

Graciously? All news is posted for content, if Huw only posted UK news, there would be stretches of nothing.

Not to mention as far as users go, over the last two years in
2020- visitors from US - 36.21 % | visitors from UK - 14.32%
2019 - visitors from US - 35.81% | visitors from UK - 13.04%

So I’d get off that supposed moral high horse you think you’re on.

I’m sorry. I couldn’t hear you. My horse is too high.
I’m just saying they don’t owe you anything. Stop being so contentious. You can always make your own site. Then we could complain about your due diligence.
