Brickset's been busy! It must be a lot of work to put together this many reviews when a bunch of sets are being released all at once.

Out of curiosity... did Brickset (and presumably, other sites receiving review sets as well) get a copy of 80035 to review along with the other Monkie Kid sets? I'm curious because while a lot of sites/reviewers have covered the new Monkie Kid sets, not one has reviewed the Galactic Explorer (and I'd assume, being a spaceship, there'd be a lot of interest from fans of the theme as well as Space fans). It's not the end of the world if Lego didn't send it, just a mild bummer—I've been hoping to see reviews to get a better look at things like the stickered viewscreens in the interior.

^ I second Lyichir's question.

Yes, this is new and it replaces the recent reviews section at the bottom of the page that nobody notices. so LMKWYT.

No, we didn't get sent that set. All the others, but not that one.

Nice feature. Especially good at a busy time like this - if you're not on here every day you could easily miss interesting stuff.

^^ Uh oh. I hope this doesn't mean there's something wrong with 80035 that will prevent its release! It's a "wait for the store to open on January first" set for me!

Personally i really liked the review section at the bottom, it was unobtrusive and easy to reach, although it rarely was useful to me since i'd rather search a specific review by the set than the recent catalog.

By in Romania,

I think this section would better fit on the sidebar, below the community bar.

Very useful at this time of year when there’s so much daily content. What frequency are you planning to publish it?

As someone who consumes the RSS feed, I’m not a fan since this just repeats content that was recently published

Thanks for this, missed the review for 40524.

Hmm, not sure what I think. The old system was fine I think, but this works OK as well. I am on here daily, but I can see how this would be helpful for those who frequent the set less.

Also, does anyone know if LEGO plans to announce more sets for January 1st (especially Star Wars and/or Marvel)?

Will this have an entry in "News preferences" list?

I'm a fan of this new summary and the way it has been laid out, it's a big thumbs up from me.

I like this better than the prior placement at the bottom of the main page. I think it also could work in the sidebar, perhaps between SETS and SHOP, though I never click SHOP or MORE and would have to train myself to click those links to find it.

With the prior layout (if I'm remembering it correctly), I'd sometimes scroll to the bottom of the main page and intend to click VIEW MORE ARTICLES but would instead click VIEW MORE REVIEWS, since that section was located right below the articles section. I can't make that mistake with this new layout.

Trouble with the sidebar is that it's only on the side on large screens. The majority of visitors use a phone nowadays.
