Definitely looking forward to the Hospital Wing.
Rather interesting to see 2019 Clock Tower behind 76398 Hospital Wing.
That new chest piece looks great! Surprised it wasn't introduced with Minecraft, it'd be a perfect fit there
I find the decor 76398 quite well designed for the most part but some details bother me like :
1) the windows on the ground floor which could have been replaced by stained glass.
2) the lack of small details under the roofs on both sides.
These are just two details for me that I wanted to clarify but that won't stop me from buying this set.
As for the two books, I think that fans of this collection (which I did not make) will find them splendid.
LEGO baby skull.
I'm liking the nurse minifig (Madame Pomfrey?)
How popular are the moments sets? Personally o just bought the Minifigures for the previous four.
Love the purple and black covers for the books and very happy to see Madam Pomfrey get a new hair mold. The baby skull piece is awesome too and the Hospital Wing build looks really nice!
Woah the dark arts one is kinda cool. I like the little moody the the chest lol
disappointed to see the hospital set being a green roof set, i understand the reason but as i only started collecting last year i dont have any nostalgia for it, i was hoping for grey roof, 2018-2020 style.
Disappointed to see that Lego is sticking with the roof color from the 2021 sets, as opposed to continuing the dark grey color scheme from the previous years (like Astronomy Tower, etc.). My understanding was that 2021 castle sets were anomalous, to celebrate the anniversary, and that the previous scheme would return in 2022. True, this is a small set and perhaps a leftover of the 2021 theme... but you'd think it would include one of those collectable tiles at least, if so. I guess we'll see later this year when the next-next batch is announced...
New chest piece.... Are we maybe soon... GETTING A NEW PORATE THEME?
Always hoping!
BABY SKELETON HEAD
I wasn't expecting more Hogwarts Moments sets! The first wave was a great change of pace.
I'm kind of disappointed they decided to go with the green roof theme instead of the dark gray for the castle sets.

The series was essentially rebooted last year, the green roofs are the norm from now on I believe
And two additional Wizard Cards
I love Prisoner of Azkaban so much, so I’m delighted to see the hospital wing being recreated as an official set.
As usual there's no chance of me buying Harry Potter, but partswise I love that baby-sized skull used for the cap of the Skele-Gro bottle. I hope that shows up elsewhere because that'd be great to use ornamentally in other themes.

I never saw anything that suggested otherwise except some wishful thinking in the comments. These were never Modular Buildings, I don't know why anyone expected more than three years.
I do miss the old system but frankly four sets gives you a pretty darn big castle to work with. There weren't many iconic bits left.
I’m not sure what I am willing to get since I just got done collecting the gray-roofed line. But very good stuff here.
(edit: I will get the books though!)
I finally get the pain of gray roof owners now that I have the Clock Tower, although maybe I’ll be able to find a way to mix that and the Medical Wing by replacing the sand green parts with dark stone gray? In any case I want the Madam Pomfrey and the Skelegro head would be hilarious on a baby Minifigure… or not… idk…
Sounds silly, but I don’t think I’ll get the hospital wing due to the green roof. Too bad gray accents couldn’t have been incorporated with the green to possibly satisfy those with the previous excellent Hogwarts builds.

It’ll probably show up on Bricks and Pieces eventually

You can always get it from Bricklink!
From 2018-2021 I had purchased every minifigure HP set. But I don't like the new green roof buildings and I REALLY don't like that 2021 skipped movies seven and eight.
I like the Hogwarts Moments, especially as they are easy to find at 20% off. But otherwise I'm done with HP.
Sorry, Lego. You've lost me with your design decisions.
Everyone complaining about roof brick colors doesn't understand how Lego parts are interchangeable.
I'm delighted by the return to sand green roofs, since I bought a lot of the very earliest HP sets in that colour scheme and always thought the dark grey ones rather dull in comparison.

Everyone complaining about people complaining doesn't understand how the internet works.
With hospital wing 76398, finally, the castle can turn/have a corner.

Don’t be too worried yet. This set is still part of the anniversary sets, there are two more wizard card tiles in this set. We’ll have to wait until this summer to see if they stick with the green roofs and modular builds or go back to grey.

I feel the exact same way, I haven't bought a single modular Hogwarts set from 2021 so far because the 2018-2020 sets were so much better.
That hospital wing set is awesome for a 1930s-1950s modular hospital!
Glad to see 3 iron beds (if this was in any other set they would only include 1 bed).
I am also particularly happy with this Madame Pomfrey minifig, she has a lovely traditional nurse's uniform and cap (although it is an unusual design, looks almost Victorian to me).
Maybe in the future if we ever get a modular hospital that hair-cap piece could be redone with different hair colours.
Any news on the Australian price for this?
PoS is my favorite so I like seeing this!
This is my favorite theme in general and the theme that brought me back into LEGO a decade ago, so I'm glad to see them churning out good sets at decent prices.

Are you offering to buy gray roof bricks and mail them to me?
Because I'm not willing to give Lego money and then give Lego more money to fix something that I don't think should have been changed in the first place. Lego makes hundreds of sets every year. I'll just go buy something else.
The books are awesome! I have the previous sets in a bookcase with the minifigs standing proudly in front of each one and they look fantastic! I'm super excited to add them to my collection. The Hospital wing is also a treat including a new design with Ron's broken leg in plaster! Please confirm if this set includes Wizard cards as I don't see them pictured on the box art. Does anyone know if the cards will be extended to include other characters? How cool would it be to have dark wizards?
These are nice for those who're collecting the reboot castle, and a final confirmation that the "older" system is done with. I would've liked more, but it is what it is.
It's not so much the colour of the roof than bothers me, but the way the hospital wing may connect with the previous sets like Room of Requirement and Polyjuice Potion Mistake. I see there are technic pins and holes but I'm not clear on the rest. I guess I'll have to hope a reviewer will comment on this...
Oh, and the hospital patients ought to have something to show why they are there, Harry could have the turban for his broken skull, and Hermione the cats head.

My 13 yr old, an avid HP fan likes them for the Minifigs and a few of the extra pieces. We typically wait till we find them on a good sell.
Baby skull, doo doo doo doo doo doo
Baby skull, doo doo doo doo doo doo
Baby skull, doo doo doo doo doo doo
Baby skull!
I don't collect Harry Potter Lego, but the books with the different classrooms and their respective teachers is a really sweet idea
@guachi:
LEGO Corporate: The last two movies are too dark, so just skip those, ‘kay?
HP Set Designer: Hey, check it out...baby skull!
@Sethro3:
Um...”PoS”?
@HugeYellowBrick:
Ron has a white leg and a vintage wand to use as a crutch, and Hermione has a cast on her arm (I think she might have stolen it from Year 2 Harry). Based on the outfits, Hermione’s other accessory, and the play feature demo in the reverse shot, this looks like it’s from Prisoner of Azkaban, when Harry and Hermione leave Ron in the infirmary and use the Time Turner to go back and rescue Buckbeak. They were both fine in that scene.
Will need to Bricklink a lot of baby skulls

I'm honestly really surprised we're not seeing this idea pop up in different lines. Lord of the Rings moments? Star Wars? Ninjago??
@PubliusMaximum:
It makes zero sense for SW. The primary mode of release has always been movies, and bound-paper books have never appeared in the films that I can recall. For LotR, it does make sense, but only if the theme sees a revival. Ninjago I could see happening, but I’m not sure it makes sense. Now, Nexo Knights absolutely would have made sense, given how prominently books factored into the story, but the theme is dead at the moment.
It just occurred to me - there are only 7 actual books (I'll pretend "The Cursed Child" doesn't exist), so are we only getting 7 "Moments" book sets?
@f2iso100 :
I was shocked to see they were doing a second wave, considering how clearly the first four were tied to the four Houses. While none of them were a perfect match, they each featured the colors of one House, as well as a professor and at least one student who were members of that House. And a Gryffindor student, because they seem to get into everything.
I don’t know what the logic is behind these new ones, but the total is only up to six at this point. No seventh book has been revealed, and it should have shown up in the German catalog if it was coming out in this wave.
It's funny for me people still complain for roof colors. Treat these sets as partpacks to expand your Hogwarts. This is Lego you can CHANGE the pieces.
@Rimefang said:

...and some people dont understand how money works...
Edit: that sounded a bit harsh, but it would really suck for someone without a big collection to want to change the color and have to pay to make that possible lol.
I really like how the Hospital looks, can't wait to get it. I also need both of the new books. I had hoped these classrooms would be the two for this year, yay!
Not sure why LEGO would think the 7th book is too dark. I recall at least one character gets killed in each book. Beside LEGO sets are based on the movies, so not too dark.
Star Wars is way darker than HP, that doesn't keep them from making SW sets.
Can’t wait to get the Hospital Wing. It’s probably the best-designed set among the modular series. I wonder how it’ll fit with the other castle sets, given that it’s supposed to be an “upper-level” type of build in the Hogwarts landscape.
I’m also looking forward to the Brickset team’s official review of this.

your profile pic is perfect
Hospital wing is perfect! Exactly what you would like it to be. Two new Hogwarts Moments books are excellent too except for I really didn't need another expansion for my Gryffindor students army. In both sets nothing but them - that's a bit disappointing. I admit that it's reasonable storywise, still would love to have one non-Gryffindor student in each set.
I’ve just noticed this tiny (literally) detail now: there’s a nano-fig of Alastor Moody inside the new black trunk piece! ;-)
@kwickbrick Someone dies in every other chapter in the final book, so I get the logic behind the decision. In addition, a lot of kids might not even get as far as the final book/films before they outgrow LEGO, so it makes sense to focus on the earlier films.
As for the Hogwarts Moments sets, it makes good sense to make them for these classes as well, but there's not much room to expand beyond this. The only subject shown on screen in addition to the six we've gotten is Care of Magical Creatures. It would be cool if it was based on the Monster Book of Monsters, but could they fit Buckbeak inside?

HELL YEAH!
The hospital wing seems to be a useful expansion set, just trying to figure out how to connect to the Chamber of Secrets upper floor, possibly use first flying lesson underneath as the lower floor?
At first I thought the Hermione minifigure was a duplicate. But a closer look shows her clothes are dirty and with no Time Turner necklace around her neck.
Nice attention to detail again in these HP sets.
@kwickbrick:
The series does take a noticeably dark turn, particularly in Year 4. The first two movies were directed by Chris Columbus, known for light-hearted, family-friendly movies like The Goonies, and the only character I recall dying in the first movie is Quirrell, who kinda deserved it. Oh, and the unicorn. But we never saw that happen. No people die in Years 2 or 3 that I recall, but three are murdered during Year 4, including Harry’s first personal experience with death since his infancy. Major allies die in the next two, and a huge number die in the last one.
So look at how the original run of sets played out. They did a massive number of sets for the first two movies, a fairly large number for the third, a handful for the fourth, _one_ Hogwarts Castle set for the fifth, absolutely nothing for the sixth and seventh, and finally rolled out a small number of sets for the eighth...that largely focused on the first 3-4 movies. I think there was one sub-$20 set that featured the scene where Narcissa tells Voldemort that Harry’s dead, and nothing else that featured content from the last three movies combined.
Or look at the new run, where the first year focused on Years 1-2, the second year on Years 3-4...and then they punted on the other four movies and started repeating content from the first four years again, like they’re pointedly trying to avoid making a full range of sets for Years 5-7. I mean, there are a few, like Umbridge and the Centaurs, but I think there are still over twice as many sets from the original launch than there are from Years 5-7 over the entire 20-year run of the theme.
@The_Sly_Fox:
She’s got the Time Turner in her hand, so that would be an epic goof if they left it printed on her torso as well.

I realise that.
I was pointing out how accurate the minifigures are with the relevant points in the storyline.
Wonder if the baby skull will hit the PaB wall at any point, that'd be something

I still do not understand this green roof crazyness . Maybe the decision maker at TLG has color blindness...
This comment is a little late on this post, but has anyone else noticed how many expensive rip off poorly designed Harry Potter sets there are on Amazon? I'm not sure why they don't get taken down but I guess Amazon is pretty relaxed about knockoffs. I'm assuming Lego pursues takedowns especially when it comes to a licensed themes.
As always, the theme provides excellent sets.

HAHAHAH exactly!
So love this line of Lego.
Good to see Trelawney and Mad-eye brought back from the CMF series. As much as I love the original incarnation, their versions back then were terribly unrecognizable.
I don't understand why they're putting out another clock tower so soon
but as always, I'm never spending another cent on this franchise so 2badsosad
@Neoka15:
Having taken the opportunity to re-examine the first four, these minifigs make no sense, aside from the professors. It occurs to me that they missed an opportunity here. The 2020 HPAC is the only set to feature the Patil Twins so far, and they were in their Yule Ball gowns. Divination has Parvati in her daily uniform, but we’ve yet to see a matching Padma. Neville may have gotten the short end of the stick last time with the gardening outfit, but so did Cedric _and_ all of Hufflepuff. Neville gets two new basic minifigs this year, but no Cedric. No Hufflepuff at all. They’ve got all of three minifigs in daily uniforms over the entire theme. And you get another Harry and another Hermione, but no Ron?
We don’t appear to know Moody’s House (or, more accurately, Barty Crouch It’s House), but Trelawny was Ravenclaw. By the standard established in he first four books, professor and one student come from the same House, and the other student is the token Gryffindor. Giving Trelawney the Patil twins would have made the most sense. Maybe by the same logic, DADA should have had Harry and Ron disguised as Crabbe and Goyle, since that would take care of both the token Gryffindor requirement, as well as covering the “member of one House masquerading as member of a different House) angle.
@J0rgen:
It doesn’t fit the style, but they’ve done a Monster Book of Monsters that’s about the same size. As for contents, keep in mind that the three minifigs are never contained in the closed book. Buckbeak wouldn’t be a problem, as long as you don’t have to shove Hagrid in there too.
