I just looked it up, there does exist an Egg No.3 and Egg No.4, but no Egg No.2… mysterious…

Ah, but that egg is big enough to hatch a full-grown adult hen right before she lays her own egg. And as other sets have revealed, white Barakki eyes are really eggs, and made their first appearance in 2011 as well.

My apologize, I forgot those but the white version was used as eggs much later with 40121 Painting Easter Eggs
Egg No. 5 and No. 6 and No. 7 are those ? :
- 1x1 printed round egg tile
- Egg Shell piece (also used as flowers/crown)
- Egg Splat piece in City 2022

Quite a few sets still use those white eye pieces as eggs even in 2020-2022, mostly friends, but that theme also has more baking going on compared to others.
City 2022 has a beach set with 4 of them as turtle eggs.

I know but we were talking about what came first chicken or egg.
The "small egg" part cam out earlier but wasn't used as a egg till after the chicken was inroduced
