The name checks out. Not sure what else to say about it.

When I started building proper 6-wide cars, I was incredibly disappointed when I found out how big this is.

@brickengineeringdude:
A lot of high-end sports cars have similar steering yokes. I’ve never driven one, but I’ve wondered if they have significantly more sensitive steering such that you never have to shift your grip on the wheel.

"Looks like the new Tesla steering yoke!"

My first thought as well.
When are we going to get a Model X from LEGO?

Only 52,000? I only have one.

But I thought I had two. The one I have is from some Agents 2.0 tank - the one with the fist guy.

But I could’ve sworn I got one from that big blue Creator cigarette style racing boat.

EDIT: Aha! I knew it! That set did come with one, but that part is dark gray not dark bley, so it’s on a separate part of my collection.

While not the same 'scale', ironic 'part' considering the 'Set of the Day'...

Am I a yoke to you?

Did this piece not get a mention on LEGO Masters AU S02E04? How's that for a coincidence given the episode aired in the UK last night.

The most interesting use is as turning handles for the base of a periscope in the robbers hideout of 60048.

I was just about to post myself I was watching Lego Masters AU last night and this got pointed out for being nice parts usage making little alien critters on one of the builds.

Used to "steer" 2 non shooting cannons on 70317 from behind the wall.

I remember when I learned about this piece, I really wished I had one to use as the controls of a spaceship and wondered why it wasn't used in sets more often. When I finally got one, I realized its size made it less versatile than I thought.

@goldenguy880:
And that is one of the bonus uses I get out of using MLCad. If I’m not certain about scale, I can just load up several parts (as long as there’s at least part of a digital file representing them) and compare size. Just on wheels and tires alone, I’ve saved a ton of money avoiding stuff that’s completely the wrong size.

I'm glad someone still remembers that set.

You mean Ultra Agents. Agents 2.0 was the new branding for the 2009 wave of Agents sets, which had no mission numbers, as opposed to the first year of Agents.

Yes! I really have a hard time keeping track of those guys.

All I can see are handles for a one-man gas-powered auger. Stick a worm gear on the end of that and voila.
