Bricktastic: last few tickets available for Saturday

Posted by ,

Bricktastic, the UK's premier LEGO event and the first large show in the country since March 2020, is still five weeks away but almost all tickets available for the Saturday have been sold already!

There are still some left for the 9:00 and 9:45 timeslots, which are the best times to go, so if you're planning a trip to Manchester Central on 26 or the 27th of February I suggest you buy your tickets ASAP.

In addition to the awesome displays showcasing the best builds from over 100 UK and European AFOLs, and play opportunities for kids young and old, there will also be around a dozen vendors selling new and used sets, loose parts and minifigs, customised items and much more, including Bricks and Bits, Minfigs.me, Blocks magazine and One More Brick.

Furthermore, you'll be able to purchase Brickset T-shirts there too, with all proceeds going directly to Fairy Bricks.

All proceeds from Bricktastic will be used to fund more LEGO deliveries to children in hospital. From a single hospital donation in 2012, Fairy Bricks now delivers sets to nearly 300 hospitals per year worldwide, reaching over 50,000 children facing the most difficult of circumstances. So, not only will you have a great day out, you will be enabling more children in hospital to feel a little better.

By in Spain,

I wish I could go but I have none of what I'd need to do so xD I was in the UK once, way before I was into Lego and even before that huge London store opened; I hope I can visit again some day!

By in Brazil,

Good question from the friend above, there will be coverage on social media, live, for us to participate.

By in United Kingdom,

I'd been eyeing this for a few weeks now, but train prices from Newcastle were extortionate. Checked again after seeing this article this evening, and prices had become much more reasonable, so I've bought a ticket for the 0945 slot. Ticket, trains and hotel for 2 nights came to less than £200, and I can visit relatives as well. Question for anyone in Manchester: can an unaccompanied adult visit just the shop at the Trafford Discovery Centre?

I bought a ticket before I had any plans, but now I’m making a long weekend of it and look forward to picking up a Brickset T-shirt (:

Yeah you can, the shop is a seperate entrace to the attraction so you can just pop in like a normal Lego shop. VIP card holders also get 10% off if you show your card :)

Thanks for the response. Good to know about the VIP discount too. Hopefully, they'll have a better range of 2022 sets than the Metrocentre Lego shop did last week!

By in United Kingdom,

I thought it was only 5% off with a VIP card at the Trafford Discovery Centre.
They very often have some hard to find polybags there.
