Part requires that you NOT trim your finger nails the day of disassembly.

Excellent part--and one that certainly needs to be available in more colours (but that's true of Technic bit in general. I know that "interior parts shouldn't be seen" and thus "why waste parts-bins on recolours of an interior part" but... sometimes the Technic bits AREN'T completely covered.)

@darkstonegrey:
Having never built the UCS AT-AT, I can honestly say I’ve never used one of these, in a set or a MOC, where I couldn’t simply push it out from the other end. Sometimes it would require using another part to push it, but no instances where I’d have no option but to try to vise my fingernails onto the stop flange to extract it.

Here we go again with the angry parts.

@purpledave
I think this must be like there are two ways to thread a needle: you can bring the needle to the thread or the thread to the needle. I am like the other posters, I grab from the flange.

This needs to appear in more colours. Brown is obnoxious at times. Annoying at others.

Black. Black would be good.

@ElephantKnight: Surprised you didn't mention white. Or maybe even trans-neon green.

Remove the rectangular protrusions and you got yourself an artillery shell.

Nothing like this part to make your Technic models look rusty!

Brickset says only appeared in 2016 (although feels older), and used in nearly every Technic, UCS etc. set since. Beforehand just used a brush at the end of a 4 axle or a triple pin, but this gives far more efficient possibilities. I wonder if the 6 or 7 axle will ever have an end stop?

Maybe, but this one has an end to it. Not perpetually so.
