This is the rare side, as it only appears in the BvS Batmobile. The Justice League version replaced it with a giant cannon.

What makes this piece different than the piece on the BVS Batwing? I am looking at the pieces in both sets and can't tell the difference.

If you use it right, it's a wall.

It’s the same piece.

What an interesting part. I kind of wish it came in yellow.

That's what I thought but it says this was only in one set and they are marked as different pieces on here.

Make sure you have the Right Windscreen and not the Wrong Windscreen.

Seems really weird that they gave them different numbers despite literally being in the same wave...
LEGO will sometimes change IDs when "reviving" parts, but this one's an oddity.

Ah the ups and downs of the rights and lefts, lately.

You know, I’m not sure. I typically buy two copies of every DC set, with one to build and one to raid for minifigs and parts, but I haven’t built any of these sets yet. I can find the windshields from the BvS Batmobile that I opened for the minifigs, but the Batwing windshields are missing. I may have pulled them out to check them over and forgot to put them back.

Anyways, while I really like the race-tank look of the Batmobile, the Batwing honestly didn’t do anything for me, and I tend to forget it exists. My mind always goes to the Burton and B:TAS Batwings, or TDKR’s lobster-copter.

@WOLKsite:
The only thing I can think of is that maybe they intended to give them different colors of glass. Bricklink shows the Batmobile and Batwing used the same part, so if that was the reason, they evidently changed their minds.

I've never seen the Batmobile in 76045 : Kryptonite Interception before! Does anyone know where it appears or was it made up just for this set?

It appeared in the film "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" in 2016.

the fun part of this batwing is that the wings fold up like a sleeping bat. And I always love the gatling style stud shooter. I do have the other Batwings, but I like this one for offering more than just the swoosh.

And this piece was never heard from again! Only useful for making a Batmobile that kills people driven by a Batman who kills people who gets in a conflict with a Superman who has basically the same line of thought and they only oppose each other because of Lex Luthor’s gaslighting.

@ambr:
An upgraded version of the same basic design (but probably not the actual Batmobile depicted in BvS) appears in 76087, with the left half of this style of cockpit making its final appearance, and the right side (this part) replaced by a giant cannon. That version appears in both the Whedon Butchery and the Snyder Cut versions of the Justice League movie.

@ohrmazd:
I haven’t built it, so I’m referring more to the vehicle depicted in the movie. That whole leading wing design seems like it would be incredibly stressful on the airframe, and probably impossibly unstable without some sort of structural spar connecting the cockpit to the center tip of the wing.
