10298 Vespa 125
Rated 18+, 1,106 pieces

Available at LEGO.com from 1st March

An Italian Style Icon: The elegance of the 1960’s with the new LEGO Vespa 125

Get a taste of genuine Italian style with the new LEGO Vespa 125 model inspired by the iconic Piaggio Vespa. This elegant 1,106 piece pays tribute to the original Vespa with its pastel pale blue colour, one of the first colours this Italian icon was made in. Fans can further celebrate the heritage of the set by adding a classic 1960s Italian licence plate and the Vespa logo.

Like the original this model is full of beautiful details and sophisticated design touches. From a bunch of flowers in the bike’s basket and spare wheel to the removable engine cover, brick-built engine, kickstand and working steering, this model is sure to be one that is displayed with pride in your home or office to create your own tribute to the always in style, Italian icon.

“Working with the Vespa team to create this stunning automotive masterpiece was an incredible experience. Recreating the details of the original model to celebrate the classic 1960’s Vespa was one of my favourite parts of designing this set. It offered me a chance to step back in time and let my imagination flow while designing, and we hope the experience is the same for fans.” said Florian Muller, Senior Designer at the LEGO Group.

Marco Lambri, Head of the Piaggio Group Design Centre: “Working with the LEGO Group was an extraordinary experience, because it brought two dreams – the LEGO brand and Vespa – together, which have the unlimited expressive potential that they offer their fans in common. Two outstanding brands able to span different ages, always able to reinvent themselves because they have the capacity to unite and to build in their DNA. As designers, the challenge was to have the soft shapes of Vespa coexist with the form of LEGO bricks, a challenge I believe we met with flying colours.”

The LEGO Vespa 125 will be available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and other retailers globally from March 1st priced from 169.99 AUD / 129.99 CAD / 99.99 EUR / 89.99 GBP / 99.99 USD.

By in United States,

Not for me but aside from that helmet and those massive stickers this looks excellent. Really nice flower design.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's pretty gorgeous, but just not for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don’t love the helmet but otherwise this looks absolutely fantastic. Now I just need Creator Expert Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck to go with it…

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I love the look of this model. I especially enjoy the expansion of the Bright royal Blue Parts palette in the last few years.
After the Fiat Model was recoloured last year, I wonder if they might do the same here in the future?

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Crazy how the Vespa has more parts than the Fiat 500.

I liked it, especially the color. Maybe I get one, the price will be fair (R$899.99). 10271 still looks a bit more interesting though.

By in United States,

Does this come with Boba Fett?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Woah, UCS Book of Boba Fett sets already?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I have a sudden urge to rewatch Luca

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love this! I don’t know that I care enough about it to pay 100$ for it, but it looks amazing!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow, they’ve already started making boba fett sets!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow, they’ve already started making some book of boba fett stuff! Can’t wait to see the other scooters….

I’m all seriousness this release was a mess, I mean some people have already reviewed it on YouTube after finding it in Costco!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Wow, whitewalls. I hope that’s not taken the wrong way.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hmm, they actually seemed to get a decent price for this one. When I saw 1100 pcs I figured it’d probably be around £130-150 given the prices of other recent sets.

I’ll happily get this as it looks great.

By in Belgium,

What an absolute gorgeous design. Pretty big, it even has more parts than the 10269 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. It dwarfs the Fiat 500, nonetheless It'll look great in the collection.

Tire work, helmet, seating, colorchoice is really effective. Great parts usage and probably more to discover upon build. Can't wait!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I need to see this but with repulsorlifts instead of wheels. And more mirrors.

Gravatar
By in Greenland,

Revealed? I've seen at least one (rather poor) review on youtube already a few days ago.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Our first ever Luca set!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Love the colour. The closest we might ever get to my favorite of all time (Maersk Blue).

Gravatar
By in United States,

If I were even remotely into Vespas I'd get this in a heartbeat. Looks absolutely adorable!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm all for more Star Wars sets, but at the end of the day I'd rather forget the Mods.

"Like a bantha."

Gravatar
By in United States,

Interesting that they include a brick-built helemt yet include an archive photo on the box with nary a helmet in sight.

Looks good, but doesn't really interst me.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

Love the main model, the helmet would look better with out the goggles.

But what is this I spy…… stickers on curved slopes - yikes!!

Gravatar
By in Italy,

This is the exact color of my first Vespa. Thank you, LEGO: bull's eye!

Useless to say, first day purchase for me.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Would have preferred red but this looks fab. Day 1 for me.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Love it

Gravatar
By in United States,

Shouldn’t this have a constraction Squirrel Girl and some squirrels riding on it?

Gravatar
By in United States,

What is going on with the scale? Why does this dwarf the Fiat? I’m bewildered by the choices here…doesn’t scale well and now it costs 2x what it needed to…

Gravatar
By in Jordan,

It looks great, but unfortunately I don't think it fits in with the Creator Expert vehicles I own. It's still a worthy addition to the series though.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Most likely feasible to do a recolour in white but impossible to do red (for now). I like it but will have to see the exact part selection to decide if I'll buy it. New wheels are nice.

Part 69636 (from the BMW M 1000 RR) has been re-used here for the front wheel.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

This looks good, nice colours. Not worried about scale with the other vehicles, maybe only the Harley Davidson, which is also out of scale with the vehicles. Will definitely add this to the collection!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Weird timing for this press release...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lovely model! I've enjoyed the other Creator Expert vehicles and this one looks fantastic as well. I look forward to picking it up.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I've been looking forward to this since I first heard the rumour. Day 1 purchase for me. Will look great in the collection. Love the colour. Not sure whether to display it next to the Fiat or the Harley.
The albino minion sitting on the back is great too!

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

So do we know yet if this is coming with the GWP mini red vespa or are they going to drop that on us after we all purchase it like the Vintage Taxi?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

No interest in buying it, but it looks amazing, the designer did a great job.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I know people love the blue color, but I'd preferred it in red. But either way, I prefer the cars because of scaling better than the Harley and this. Proportionally they look good, but sitting on a shelf next to the cars they seem off.

Price seems decent for what you get. And the overall design looks great. Just not for me.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is absolutely gorgeous... Just needs a sound brick to recreate the full effect!

I can't believe how many excellent March releases there are!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I just thank god this was NOT part of the 2022 Justin Bieber x Vespa collaboration that was to be announced this month! TimBiebs were enough.

Was worried when I heard rumors of a Vespa for LEGO last year and then the December collab announcement. Sigh of relief when these were seen in the wild with a 60's look :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I realise this is a 125, rather than a GS, but would be interested to see mod mods of this. With multiple headlights and mirrors amongst other things.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

$170AUD seems a bit high for an 1100 piece set, especially when it looks like there are a fair few small pieces in it. Will get it as I love the creator expert cars but really need to see it built and next to something for comparison to be convinced it's worth the price. Though it is a perfect set for Lego to roll out the different colour trial on!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

No one rides side-saddle these days.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@HOBBES:
So...no constraction Deadpool?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Huge stickers, so set is worthless in a few years. Pass.

Gravatar
By in United States,

We can all be Scooter brothers!

Scooooooooooter brothers!

Will BrickHeadz do?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Mmmm.
I really like it but I now want a smaller one to go with my Fiats.

Or do I want a bigger Fiat?

Gravatar
By in Japan,

Looks pretty good! Quite a bit larger than I had expected, and numerous nice details. Unfortunately quite a lot of stickers, but otherwise not much to complain about.

And next please a Heinkel Tourist and a Honda Super Cub in the same scale...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I heard rumors of a mint green model, which I was looking forward to, but this might be better, as my wife and I owned a Vespa-alike in just this pale blue! I even wore a plain white helmet. Possibly a Day One purchase.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Silencio Bruno!!!

I'd buy a Super Cub set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't understand the Boba Fett comments.

I like the look of the set, but it doesn't interest me enough to buy it.

It comes from a meme based on the show relating to a ‘Power Ranger Scooter’ gang.

Anyway, I really like this, but it’s unfortunately a lower priority for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't care about Vespas or any licensed vehicles per se, but this is so pretty! So many angles and inventive building techniques! So many interesting sloped and angled pieces! I'm abuzz with all the MOC possibilities.

I think I'll have to get this. Obligatory shout out to Luca!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like this one.. no-one I'm Going to buy like the Fiat but nice set well done lego I'm getting Emiy in Paris vibes from it too lol..

Gravatar
By in United States,

Don't collect Creator vehicles, but this does look very nice! Impressed by the seamless shaping of the curves, and I love the color choice! Would have expected red, as that is surely more iconic. Maybe a variant set like they've done a couple times?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Nice one
I reckon a yellow version will appear in the UK soon ;-)

Honestly I'd be over the moon for Roman Holiday LEGO sets of any type

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm of Italian descent, I have plenty of old pictures around the house that look like that photo on the box. But, I can NOT believe the newly-woke Lego has used such a picture of crossed-legged women in skirts riding behind the men! It might be nostalgic, but it sure isn't feminist. Interesting.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well since no one else said it, I will.

I can’t wait to see some new Haruko MOCs to go with this Vespa!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The issue with recolour is related to part 77180 and 77182 (the parts under the back seat). These originally came in white in the Creator Porsche; then in sand green in the typewriter and finally in dark red in the old pickup truck and the Titanic. The other part is 76797 (4 of them on the front wheel cover) those are only available in white (from the space shuttle) (and now in blue from this set but not yet available on BnP/PaB. The other part that might create a problem is the box 2x2x2 (container box) which is used in reverse in the center of the handlebar - this part is currently only available in black, dark blueish gray, reddish brown and green. Part 49612 (2 on each side - front of the side panel) are so far only available in black, red and white. So white is probably feasible right away, red is the next closest with lots of parts missing - for the time being.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Beautiful model. But I just have no display space left, and no emotional attachment to the Vespa. I hope it sells well and rewards the designers who did a great job.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love how the box art captures the essence of riding a Vespa so wonderfully. In a pitch black void.

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO Luca set?!?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

A few years ago the Arvo Brothers came with a beautiful model of a white Vespa P200 and compared to this new model I must say I really prefer the design by the Arvo Brothers. Somehow a more sleek design.

By in Netherlands,

It looks nice, but coming to the limits of space available, I'll settle with the small Creator Vespa. It looks just as nice, at a fraction of the price. And it would go better with the Creator Expert cars.
