Bricktastic, the event organised by and run for the benefit of our favourite charity Fairy Bricks, takes place this weekend Manchester Central.
I will be running the GBC display so if you're visiting come and find me. I will have a limited number of Brickset 1x8 bricks to give away and Brickset branded T-shirts will be available at one of the vendors' stands, with all proceeds going to the charity.

It was great to be back at Lego event, the exhibits were great as ever and I bought a few things at the stalls. I had a 9am Saturday entry so it did allow a brief amount of time to see things before it quickly got very crowded later. The crowds were a bit much, but still enjoyable. Was good to briefly say hello to Huw and I recognised a few other faces.
First major Lego event we’ve attended and fair to say we were blown away seeing so many talented builders and incredible displays! We had a brilliant time there this morning, and it was great to be able to say a brief hello (and thank you) to Huw in person, as well as put faces to a few other names in the community.
Well that was absolutely fantastic. What a real pleasure for the entire family; from meeting Huw and seeing Huwbot in person, to helping build lego art, to seeing the creativity and passion of so many many exhibitors we enjoyed every minute of the day.
I think my highlight is that I came away with a brickset brick. I _know_ my boy's is that we finally own 42205 which he has been saving up for for many years now.
