Perfect for single-seater busses.
A stone-cold classic along with 3828 and 4824. It's a shame many of the other classic windscreens introduced in space were scrapped due to the hinges.
Ah yes a Knight Bus windscreen, except one of mine has some green guck smashed on it…
It’s not a windscreen, it’s a fish tank!
Correct me if i'm wrong, But I remember seeing this piece in some freestyle sets.
I don't have this variant but as another part number it has nice use as a tall double windscreen 60287 : Tractor.
Or fishtank in 31097 : Townhouse Pet Shop & Café
Is there a 2x4x2 Horizontal version of this part?
There were several versions of this through the 80s. Some of them got cloudy, but I remember one that stayed crystal clear for years. Might still be that way.

It’s not a fish tank, it’s a terrarium! Which is basically the same thing, now that i think about it...
I felt it was kind of a waste of such a good piece when it was just used as a structural element in 10253.
I went crazy over this piece when I first saw it on 6361. I remember being devided in between getting 6361 or 6358 . This is the exact piece that made me choose 6361 over 6358.

Wow that is a nice set.
I got 6662 for my birthday so I must have this part somewhere in my collection.
@NotProfessorWhymzi:
Nah. If it starts leaking, it’s no longer an aquarium.

Everybody deserves a second chance! It's comfortably sitting in my pet shop, doing its job as well as as truck windscreen back in the 80's.
I never had any of these as a KFOL in the mid-90s, but I did buy some as an AFOL for 4-wide trucks.
I remember, from my childhood, having this part on back-hoe. We need today new back-hoe, on a trailer connected on construction dumper truck!
A broader selection of 1-stud-deep windscreens would be most welcome. I recently did a MOC on which a 1x4x3 windscreen would have been a definite improvement over the 1x4x3 panel (and the gaps it has on the side) that I had to use. After all, they make a Windscreen 1x6x3.
