I had to go through the instructions to figure out exactly what this element was for.

@lessjunkfood:
Never mind what it’s for, it clearly aspires to be a CRT TV.

Because no one wants bricks without a function.

So what is the function?

Just like Conjunction Junction, it knows its function...if it's very careful.

I didn't recognise that at all... Turns out I've got 4, but all in unopened GWPs, so not surprising!

Has anyone ever actually used this piece? I got one for the Disney Minnie Mouse set (I don't like the idea of a giant plastic bow in top of my ice creamery) , and given that the piece is in pink it is therefore completely useless to me.

A television is a nice idea (it would make a great telescreen for a 1984 MOC) but other than that I can't think of anyway this piece could be used.

It's also used to hold a paper sail in 45401.

Thanks for getting that song stuck in my head.

By in Canada,

I ordered that part in the colour shown above to represent some form of 'door/airlock' greebling in a MOC I'm building but I would like Lego to make this part in other colours (gray, dark gray, black, white) so it fits better with the overall look of the MOC. Lego has already 'most' of the parts I need just so not in the colours I want...
