If it quacks like a duck…it’s a pretty violent duck.
YEEEEHAW!!!
Bang Bang Bang!
Shoot Shoot Shoot!
Americans be like: "That's not a six shooter trigger!" I'm pretty sure Lego did make one toy revolver, Cowboys and Indians style back in the day.
I wonder if anyone has used this part in a creative way other than as a trigger.
The six shooter piece is cool but I miss the Gatling gun's Lego used to include made out of binocular pieces which was really cool. I did like the use of the 6 shooter for a snow blower in the snow plough set, because it looked like the real thing and it actually dispersed the 'snow' (1x1 white round plates).
This has been in a lot of sets!
Gotta hand it to LEGO, they make some pretty good plastic-launching toys. Make sure you read the manual kids, and note that one-eyed emoji.
I may be a critic of stud shooters, but the version this part is critical to (it is the part that rotates and dislodges the studs) is pretty fun. I bought a Batman polybag (30523) for a dollar or so on clearance at my local Walmart just for this part.
It is really fun when attached directly to a Power Functions medium motor. All six rounds of 1/1 round plates get fired off in less than a second. Been thinking about possibly automating it with Mindstorms to make a sentry robot.
@Brickchap: They also did a new six-shooter piece in the Lone Ranger sets.
Considering how many of this piece are owned and the fact I have over 500 sets myself, I'm amazed that I don't own a single one of these and haven't even seen it before.

I was referring to a hand held 'life size' gun, not a minifig weapon. They basically made a cap gun.
But yes, there is the traditional Lego revolver and then the more realistic Lone Ranger version. I tend to think of that LR one as a 1851 Colt New Army revolver (or similar type), whereas the traditional revolver piece is more of a Webley .38.
An April fool's joke could have been that LEGO would be presenting a working Uzi or something. This may have been one of the parts.
