Sometimes SPACE parts aren’t always obviously SPACE.

I looked up liane plant for a real world reference to this vine and ended up seeing skateboard art and Grateful Dead posters.

Wait, wait, wait...this part hasn't been used in a single MARIO Set yet?!?!?...For SHAME TLG, For SHAME...
(Seriously, first thing I though of was Super Mario 2...at least the North American ver. of it...)

Really nice part, and one I didn’t really know existed.
I could easily see this being used outside of Friends.

Because it's been retired and replaced by this pieces...

Also it's a pretty flexible part, wouldn't work well for supporting the weight of a cloud or figure standing on top.

... which cannot bend like these ones. This is not a substitute."

Really? The Mario one is hard plastic? That's weird.

"

These ones specifically look to be multiple pieces that can be attached together to create a longer vine. besides, even if it was a single piece, it is to thick to be bendable to the others degree, even if it was hard plastic. the only real substitute the original piece has gotten is the Bramball's vines in 71381, and even then they are spiked, not leafy.

If I got shafted, I’d probably leave.

Never seen this piece before. It’s cool. I like it. When I saw it, I had assumed it was used in the Mario sets.

By in Canada,

Solely used in Friends sets so far.

Judging by how it's been used in those sets, this piece seems to be extremely flexible (i.e. would not support anything).

Oh, hello! Why aren't you sold in parts packs yet?

Hmm, I thought it was a Duplo part when I saw it.

Yes, it looks a lot like the Duplo vine
