That’s quite the name.
Almost 800 Iron Men. Enough for a small army, I’d say.
Most of the time I think this part in other colours has been for vehicle hood ends or snow overhangs, which is where it shines.
I looked up the inventory for the iron man set a few minutes ago. A strange coincidence.
Argh, not another one, i need a right one!
And this time the one that’s right is the one that’s left!

It’s got that “parent shouting your full name so you really know you’re in trouble” vibe
By looking at that picture, you might think this part has some wild zebra stripes.
Ugh. I grabbed a cup of these from the PaB. Then, I got distracted, and neglected to get a matching cup of its twin. Now I have too many. Yet, this is where we need to be creative, right? I figure they will probably make good roof tiles for a house... or maybe the fur of some creature.
I don't like this part. It's a decorative piece that just serves to cover studs.
Studs are supposed to be built upon, not covered.

It doesn't look very lego-like due to it. But these days it's all about accurate recreations of the exact curves of things, and that's what this part is most often used for. You know, because we're doing scale models of licensed vehicles most of the time. Great for if you're into that sort of thing I guess, but it makes builds a lot fiddlier.
One of my favourite uses of this part (technically under a different design number) is 75265: Despite the shaggy and irregular nature of the bantha, the designer managed to include and equal number of left- and right-hand pieces.
I really like this part. It’s an excellent finishing piece and can provide some excellent detail.
