To be honest only the king looks like a cool set

There's too much gold, it feels like I'm going snow blind looking at that dragon. Love the Samurai Mech though.

The new crystal guys look dope. The gold dragon, crystal king, and Nya's mech will be day 1 buys

Exactly what I was thinking. They are pandering to nostalgia with this wave.

If the prices for this sets are right - Lego got nuts! 140$ for Golden dragon?! Hell NO!

Will definitely be getting the Temple, Crystal King, Raider and maybe the Mech. However, they all look sooo cool (except the dragon. Lloyd there is fantastic, but the dragon is boring).

Transparent coloured blades! Would have work well for the Dark Sabre in trans-black.

Those Vengestone characters look more like a return to Chima minifigs to me (though I could be wrong)?!

I like the canopies on Cole's Dragon Cruiser and Zane's Gold Dragon Jet but I'm not too fond of all the Trans pink to be honest. All in all looks to be a decent wave.

Uhh spoilers, didn’t Nya die or some crap? Not surprised they’re bringing her back because this series can’t have any meaningful deaths because money. Can’t kill off the only relevant strong female character. I was cool with Zane coming back because the brought him back in a really cool way. Hope the do the same for Nya.
Also, bringing back the Golden Weapons for the 3rd time??? My guess is they realized the newer seasons (since the animation and group change) haven’t been as successful, and they’re trying to replicate their “Glory Days” that everyone has nostalgia for. I really want something completely new. I know they do new stuff all the time, but I feel like the last time we got a truly great season was Skybound. Seabound was pretty good, however. The rest of them after Skybound (including that forgettable time traveling one) has had the same predictable tropes imo. I still enjoy the series, it just could be better.

Also (again), new mould for the Quake Scythe or whatever it’s canon name is.

She turned into a Sea God basically, the teaser trailer showed her rising from the waves in her Dragon God form at the end of the trailer.

I love Ninjago even if I don't buy all the sets but, they should really include some Ninjago City sets (school buses, mailman, museum, aquarium, etc) into their line of sets.

71772 The Crystal King is clearly one of Prince Lotor's Robeasts and has been trained to fight 21311 Voltron. Clearly.

These are really cool, but why are all the good ones that aren't throwaway vehicles so big and expensive? This feels like a Monkie Kid lineup with all the flagship sized sets.

The crystal King in particular feels equally cool but expensive at 60 euro!
But that Kai vehicle and that dragon. OMG those prices!

These are amazing!!!!

LOVE these! Zane's Gold Dragon Jet feels like a reward for my patience. I've been wanting that sick mask and hat villain since he came out, but I couldn't justify buying the larger sets he originally came in.

The overall crystal motif is super creative! :D

Ninjago is not my drug of choice, but I really dig many of these sets and hope to grab them at some point.

I'll take the mech, all the golds & the transparents as well. Fancy.

Crystal King looks like the counterpart to Hero Factory's Queen Beast from the final wave.

My favorite combo is 71771 : The Temple of the Crystal King + 71772 : The Crystal King seem to be designed together.

You get full team of "normal" ninjas (no Wu or Nya/Samurai X) that way.

71774 Lloyd's Golden Ultra Dragon would also get you a full team of ninja, but in their golden variant (or Oni for LLoyd)

@Binnekamp technically we’ve got “Mr. F” this wave/season. Even if he is just a rebuilt Mr. E, robot “death” is a lot easier to work around than that of a typical human or being. Zane’s own return, and to a lesser extent Pixal’s, to a physical form is clear evidence of this.

Fun fact, the wings on the ninja are the same wing pieces that are on the 2 evo dragons

Kind of interesting that Lego used the crocodile egg for a dragon egg in 71759. Clever. This Ninjago wave is really cool, (all those dual molded transparent pieces!!) but it has too much gold for my taste.

A little disappointed with this wave, the ninja vehicles just don't seem to have that detailed, cohesive design that I've come to expect from Ninjago. Doesn't really seem like they capitalized on the crystal theme either, when rumors came out that it was a crystalline themed wave I was hoping for something in the Rock Raiders/Power Miners aesthetic but that's not really what we ended up getting.

This is what happens when you shut down the DC Superhero Girls theme: Those pesky Kryptomites just get out of hand!

Agreed, my favorite 2 sets are the Crystal King named sets, and they will go well together with the 2020 Dungeon sets as well, the other sets are far more GOLD and not so much crystal at all.

I love that Harumi is back but curious to see how they bring her back in the story. Last time was a great story plot in the Prime Empire digital world where Lloyd had to fight his guilt to advance to the boss level so I’m wondering if she’s back for good here or if it’s another vision / digital thing!

I think my spending limits have just been blown outta the sky!

I think Golden Oni Lloyd is a reference to his father with 4 golden weapons!

King (gives me Sauron vibes) and Golden Dragon are a must. The mech and the temple will need more pics or reviews to convince me.

They call it the final season because Ninjago reinvents itself every few years. This season will be the final one for this era and concludes plot points set up since 2019 or even 2018. After that they'll probably try to shake things up again.

Original era: 2011-2013
Rebooted era: 2013-2017
Film: 2017
Oni Trilogy: 2018-2019
Studio Wildbrain era: 2019-2022

The latter is called that due to the change in animation studio and switch to a 11 min episode format vs 22 min episodes.
Notably, season 13 (the 2nd season of the Wildbrain era) revolved around a mysterious buyer of vengestone, which directly set up this newest season.

With the inclusion of Harumi, Mr F, Oni Lloyd and Oni Garmadon they might resolve some plot points from the Oni Trilogy. Bu there's Pythor from Season 1, so who knows what they end up doing XD

There’s been no official word that this wave/season is meant to finalize anything but the ongoing “Vengestone” arc, though it does appear they’ll be revisiting some stuff. Ninjago has been confirmed to carry into next year.

Promobricks referred to this as a sort of Endgame wave. Funnily enough, there are a couple parallels to be seen, though this time it’s the villains who are sporting identical torso and leg designs.

Oh my god! we are finally getting Bohrok eyes in Gold again! That hasn't happened since Brutaka in Bionicle from 2006 iirc. Besides that I'm legit hyped for this wave! There looks like there's a lot of cool new molds for MOCing in here!
