Another 'mini-modular' Creator 3-in-1 set, 31131 Downtown Noodle Shop, will be released in June.

Like this year's modular building, 10297 Boutique Hotel, light nougat is the dominant colour of the two-storey premises which houses the titular food vendor on the ground floor and a tiny flat above it.

It can be rebuilt into two somewhat nondescript shops, one of which might be a cycle repair business.

By in Germany,

I see two technic pin holes, does it connect to Monkie Kid buildings? Didn't we get these in other 3in1 sets in the past?

The other shop seems to be a small arcade.

No Po or Mr. Ping? Some noodle shop this is.

Found it, 31105 had these as well as 31097 does that mean it's an official mini-modular-system?

@maaboo35
Have they collaborated with DreamWorks?

By in Netherlands,

Wow! Very versatile city building with lots and lots of MOC potential, and a lovely 3 in 1 creator set too just as a stand-alone set.

By in Australia,

Great to see the return of the hearing aid print, and all of these buildings look quite nice. Probably will get it if the price isn’t too excessive.

There's a weird disconnect with it being a noodle shop but the ice cream bike being the prominent second build. I wish that choice was a little more consistent.

Hmm, it's okay. Hopefully, the next C3n1 won't be another corner building. With this, the toy store and the pet shop we got three in a row.

Technically, yes. In practice, the Monkie Kid buildings often have stuff hanging off the side that can get in the way of attaching it to another building. But I do like how the creator buildings generally fit in with the Monkie Kid buildings, and seem suitably tiny with the Mechs looming over them.

Keep this up and we'll have more noodle shops than police stations!

Karaoke bar eh?
I imagine they play "24 hour Cinderella."

By in Germany,

Looks great and the noodle shop can be fully closed too... something you never see in City.

By in Puerto Rico,

Wow wait, is this building a fully enclosed one thanks to the hinges?!?!? I need it for my City and I will find a way to make it open like bigger modulars.

The noodle shop, and it’s glorious open space seating, is quite enough to fill the awesome meter. The included ice cream street vendor is the perfect dessert.

HULK LIKE SPICY WORM SOUP!!

Hold on, they're still making the pantograph piece, they're just not using it on trains?

Not sure why you're describing the alternate builds as "nondescript shops" — the "B-model" is immediately recognizable as a video arcade thanks to its contents and clever brick-built signage! LEGO has gotten really great with clever 3D sculpted signage in recent years.

Really pleased with this set! The colors and architecture are really striking across all three models. And it offers some types of businesses we haven't seen before in these sorts of Creator 3-in-1 street scenes. I'm sure there are even more fun details that can't be seen in these pictures, and look forward to reading through the instruction manual once it's uploaded to take in the full details.

3-in-1 noodle? So, spaghetti inside penne inside rigatoni? Cool.

Strange to see stickers in a Creator set - still a cool set of builds, for what it's worth! All three models have some really neat signage!

By in Singapore,

This would be perfect next to 31050 Corner Deli! They have so much in common.

Are the chops sticks new for this set?

Pretty sure the third one is an arcade

I think they were first introduced earlier this year in Monkie Kid sets (although it looks like they've also shown up in Friends, Disney, and City).

Love the ice cream cart! The buildings, well, nothing terrible but just not that interesting. A bit meh.

3-in-1 further cements itself as my favourite theme. This looks good for at least 2 copies for me.

By in Netherlands,

This seems to take a lot of inspiration from 31050 : Corner Deli.

Hinged with an optional corner module, same style of layout of interior like a big chair upstairs.

While the bike garage and Arcade were featured in older sets, I think it's 100% fine.
Arcade : 31081 : Modular Skate House
Bike Shop / Garage : 31026 : Bike Shop & Cafe , 2 different builds with either a bike shop or garage.

31105 : Townhouse Toy Store also had a Flower shop alternate which also was an alternate in 31050

By in Canada,

This Noodle shop to be the first fully enclosed CREATOR building in ages. Great job LEGO!

I'll be buying at least two for the main build, 3rd build, and then I'll go from there!

By in Canada,

Also is the Noodle Shop Chinese or Japanese?

The signage looks Chinese, but there is sushi on the menu, so...Asian fusion or confusion?

By in Italy,

I can see the new version of Corner Deli

Ninjago/Monkie Kid City is getting bigger! I think I need 2 of these. Need a good sale!

By in United States,

Seems like this would be a great parts pack.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Interesting, if you add two 8x8 plates you could build the inside more while in the open position to create a restaurant downstairs and a bedroom upstairs.

By in Netherlands,

I'll never understand the brickbuilt animals thing in creator sets. The dog just doesn't look good. It doesn't look like a living thing. The birds are barely any better.

I know the parts for the animals are reused for other things in the other builds. But I don't feel it's necessary. The set would work perfectly fine with normal animal figures.

Any 3-in-1 building is a must-have for me as they represent what I think a modern 'town' theme should be. That said, I am somewhat ambivalent on this one as it seems really scant, heavy on exterior details with spare and tiny interiors. I guess you can't have it all, but this is still my favorite aspect of Lego, the modular aesthetic on a more modest scale.
