I wonder if they'll reveal new products this time around that haven't been leaked.
Lets hope it will be better than this mistake from previous year lol
New theme reveal is going to be Avatar, right?
More Lego Vidiyo!!! /s
I just want to see the avatar theme revealed. If they can do that in Lego con then they will keep me happy
Wow, can’t wait… nobody shouted at all!
Well at least they are honest in admitting it is a CON. Yeah new theme will very likely be Avatar. But other than that its basically a rip off convention version of Lego Life and all their other stupid tech stuff. A gimic to get people in to just a bunch of random kids stuff no one cares about.
I remember some disdain that the hyped-up reveals last year were of things that had already leaked. But, really, I can hardly fault Lego for always acting like leaks don't happen. I mean, what are they supposed to do, go on stage and say "well guys, we were gonna reveal this cool product, but it got leaked a few weeks ago on some website, so, we might as well not bother. Moving on"?
the last one was waste of my time. Hope they will improve it this year
If the new theme being announced is Thunderbirds, this will be the best show in the history of Lego.... Oh well, I can dream.
I won't be con-ned into waisting my time like last year.
They took such a wide shotgun approach to hitting so many targets, that they missed all of them.

Don't get my hopes up.
The canceled sets sounded like they'd be a lot of fun. If they'd focused on the sets over the terribly priced beatboxes and blind boxes, maybe the theme would still have a pulse.
Oh boy can wait to see sets that leaked months ago lmao the only set they'll reveal will be the N1-starfighter we've had images of since April lol
My goodness aren't we just a happy bunch of commenters today
Must admit I won't sit and watch it, but they've kept a lid on most of the 90th anniversary stuff. Could be cool if they announced all that on the day.
Vidiyo 2 0. Woooooooo

Interested to see people are still remembering the show, either one really. Happy to see my people are still around as well. Whist we’ve heard no rumours, as you said, we can dream!
You can't bring the fun back if you didn't bring it in the first place!
I forgot the last one even happened
I will bet that the new theme is going to be avatar lol. As for the the reveals, I hope they reveal the sanctum. I've been dying to see it.
"[...] this year, we’re bringing all the fun back": who is "we"?

I'm afraid my ultimate kick in the teeth would be a theme based on the cartoon rather than the 'Supermarionation' show!
Too bad I'll be in school when it aires
Good thing they will be broadcasting on Youtube this year, if you remember all of the technical issues!
Can't say I'm too excited for this. The 'Tour of Warner Bros Studios' and the Lightyear Director sound like complete advertisements with little to fully do with LEGO itself. The Minecraft panel last year was the highlight for me (although the bar was set extraordinarily low), so I'm kind of glad to see that returning.
Kind of interested in the new theme reveal. I'm sure it will be Avatar, but I have a hunch that it might be a new original theme (Castle based? Please?)
im hoping for mario cmf, attack of the clones leaked sets + more, harry potter d2c, and Minecraft sets based on 1.17/18

Spelling lessons ? ??
I will be in work when this happens but, I will add it to my list of things to watch.
New Theme - Avatar ? (hope to be proven wrong and actually something new in-house)
Harry Potter Building Tour - Licensed
Minecraft Creator - Licensed
Pixar Masterclass - Licensed
Is this about LEGO anymore ? or Licenses.
Hopefully the "JAW DROPPING PRODUCT REVEAL" will include the 90th anniversary set (King's Castle? )
I miss Vidiyo! I want the rest of the band members and more stages! :'(
Guys I don't think there was enough dots stuff last year, I hope they do more

Wait what? I remember last year being kinda disappointing.
They seem to have a better lineup than last year. Albeit that may not mean much... I have no interest in Harry Potter, but I am curious who they are going to have "from the movies". Angus Maclane is no surprise considering what he did to get a new yellow canopy piece. As to their reveals, they have been a lot better in the past year on keeping things secret. The theme is probably Avatar, and their 90th anniversary is the castle and maybe the CMF series. I hope people are joking about the N1 being revealed at Lego Con. Lego Con is June 18th, and the N1 officially goes on sale June 1st. That being said they may show the N1 for the star wars celebration which would be unfortunate.
*laughs*
I can't wait to read about the aftermath of another awkward Zoom meeting
Guess we'll just have to wait an see if this actually turns out half-decent.
"Be sure to tune in for extra special anniversary surprises that we want to celebrate with you!"
Makes me think they'll reveal more than the Lion's Castle. Fingers crossed for a full theme or CMF!
The only 2022 set reveal I am still excited about is 10497, the supposed new anniversary version of the famous Galaxy Explorer spaceship.
Would be great to have a "Con" where LEGO fans could go to, upon receiving some LEGO Set specially for that day... I haven't been to a Con before... Seems like there are no "Con" 's in Belgium... Also the VIP points ain't the same as in Netherlands or the UK... Sad!
Looking forward to the event. It ought to be a difficult event to organize due to a huge variety in respective audiences. I enjoyed the event last year. I would have enjoyed more if I were 25 years younger but I also understand that most segments in the event are geared toward younger audience.
Can't wait to read HERE what is revealed there.
Yeah...I'm not sure my stomach can handle a second edition of this boring cringe-fest...
12pm here in NY? That is very late I'm going to stay up to watch this I hope it will be worth my time.

Sure, but if the selling point of the con is exclusive first looks at new sets, then revealing stuff we've already seen doesn't really deliver on that promise or give people a reason to watch in the future.

12 PM is actually noon mid-day, 12:00.

12 PM is the middle of the day and 12 AM is the middle of the night.
Hmmm so in last year's the content seemed more aimed at kids while the marketing seemed to be at AFOLs. Hopefully it'll be available on YouTube afterwards so I can forward through the segments on making Dots patterns (no disrespect to Dots fans of course!).
Maybe some more adult themed pieces would be interesting, perhaps something along the lines of advanced building techniques, or even more adult focused like an Embarrassing Bodies/Lego cross. "What to do if a 1x10 plate gets stuck up your bum" etc..

I think it's G-rated, you can't do that.
Let's see if they actually reveal anything exciting, unlike last year.

I think that the majority of people who watch the event (lots of kids, I'm guessing) don't keep up with the leaks. I certainly don't. I know they're out there, but I stay away so I can be surprised by announcements at events like these. I think it's for the benefit of those people that Lego proceeds with reveals as planned.

I wouldn't mind the cartoon tbh, IMO theres a lot cooler vehicles. more intresting set material, plus the old one may not confirm to the standards of todays world, bc times change :\
Awesome! They finally put it on a weekend so people who work can join in. Now they just need to not schedule it on the same weekend as Brickworld Chicago. I’ma be pissed if they reveal a Darkwing Duck theme when I’m not paying attention.
@Legogenius22:
I thought they already did the official reveal of that set.
@R1_Drift:
You have class in June? On a Saturday?
@PhantomBricks:
Fingers crossed for Jamie Waylett!
Thank goodness it's virtual.
