@TeriXeri:
Isn’t four years a bit late to the party?

Not really, considering UCS Slave I was based on a 1980 Movie :D

I have this part in every color it was made in! Just Transparent and Transparent Bright Bluish Violet, but still!

I know I'd rather be aboard a Party Bus than Slave I, Especially considering how non-Mandalorians generally end up there...

I'm sorry, it's not called "Pop-Up Party Bus" anymore. It's now called "Boba Fett's Bus".

Kidding aside, it's a great piece! Shame it wasn't in more sets. Would be nice in yellow for a Blacktron ship.

By in Austria,

Really hoping they’ll re-release this piece in trans-clear someday soon. I hate not being able to bring myself to open my own because the value keeps rising.

Recently ordered a couple in trans-violet and I’ll probably paint them black to put on my own UCS Slave I. Never thought I’d want to modify a piece, but here we are :/

The Pop-Up Party Bus set was so great in every respect that when I see this windshield, it comes to mind before anything else! Squeaky clean build, unique and large elements, a great price to piece ratio, interesting colors, and of course, flawless play functions. In my top 5 favorite sets ever!

Well now I want to see Slave I decked out in the colours of the Party Bus. Someone get Sabine Wren on the case, she’s good for Star Wars paint jobs :D

Transparent part 128$, purple one 0.1$, current lowest prices. Same part.

@kraken:
While a purple Slave I would look awesome, the purple canopy wouldn’t make sense on the green version (or the blue version that I’m sure at least one person has built based on the original). It also doesn’t work well for a variety of other color schemes that clear would be fine for.

This is the way of things. Demand for 10030 drove the price high enough that people started buying loose parts to cobble together their own copy. Demand for loose parts quickly ate up the available supply of tan 2x2 plates with magnet holders on the bottom. People moved on to other colors, and because those were used so rarely before that style of magnet was retired, now you can’t get even dark-grey cheaper than $3 Used. After 10179 retired, prices on the light-bley ship rigging hit $100+, and I think solid light-bley levers reached $10 or higher, before the ship rigging came back in the 2nd Falcon, and they started cranking out the levers in several sets the past three years.
