No Starch Press, publisher of fine LEGO books, is launching three new titles later this year and Brickset readers can enjoy a 25% discount on pre-orders.

  • The LEGO Engineer is the latest title by Jeff Friesen whose books are exquisitely illustrated with beautiful photographs. This one contains instructions for building microscale bridges, tunnels, trains, ships, buildings and much more.
  • Getting Started with LEGO Mindstorms and Mastering LEGO MINDSTORMS cover the latest generation of the robotics platform found in 51515 Robot Inventor and SPIKE Prime. The latter looks particularly interesting because it details how to use Python to program the hub, which is largely undocumented at the moment.

You can view links, discount codes and a few sample pages from the LEGO Engineer after the break.

By in United States,

I purchased the Lego Castle book a couple years back, and while it was fun, it was also full of mistakes on piece count. Every single build was short a dozen pieces or so. Hopefully they've done a better job this time around.

By in Germany,

Shipping to Germany costs more than the book itself, so not worth it to order from them directly. Better to buy it from Amazon at a post release date.

By in Italy,

Same with shipping to Italy: book $18, shipping $24. Will eventually buy on Amazon. Too bad though.

Great books by the way.

I found the same thing.

I loved the book, it was gorgeous, but the instructions were riddled with errors.

Same with the "Micro Cities" book.

I'll buy this one, but y'know, third time's the charm!
