I own none of the sets this comes in, so no idea why it’s considered a different part than the other version.

Unless this is an updated version of an identical part to itself, this one is narrower by two studs than the one to which I believe you’re referring.
That’s cute, it’s a 4-wide version of the Speed Racer windscreen.
Could we find a worse way to display this part and abstract what it's supposed to be upon first glance?

One the one hand it can be tricky showcasing transparent parts, especially one like this with sides that are thin and numerous.
On the other, yeah, this was a bad angle to pick, everything kind of blurs into each other
Pretty nice windscreen shape for a speedboat or small rounded car , since this version is 4 wide instead of the older 6 wide.
What part? I don't see any part? I didn't know lego produced invisible parts? ;)
