Minifig display case winner
Posted by Huw,You may recall that we publicised a competition recently in which you could win a Dig for Figs minifig display case.
After much deliberation by the judges, of which I was one, the winner has been announced.
Congratulations, then, to Leon Hard in Spain whose diorama a-brick-adavra won him the prize.
You can view more of the entries at the Digs for Figs website, where I've just learned that the company is offering cheaper shipping to the USA now, so if you're looking for what many consider to be the ultimate display case for minifigures, go and take a closer look.

Congratulations! That looks amazing! Very suitable for the theme but still filled with clever techniques and I love the story it tells.
This is so wizard
What fun and a great cast of characters. Well done and congratulations.
Looking at the entries, I can see why this won. That 80's movies one is great, but it's clearly not meeting the 9x64 size requirement. ...and why is there a ghost in the space station scene?

Because space ghosts?
Vamos Senior Hard! Muy bien.
Very colorful and whimsical with just enough darkness and danger.

From coast to coast.
Congratulations! Very well designed and built, deserving of the win.
Wow! Never thought I could be in a Brickset news article... Overwhelmed is the word.
Thank you all for your kind words, glad you like 'A-Brick-Adavra'. Be sure to look through the competition gallery, there are some fantastic builds.
If I may, and Huw let me post this here, please pay a visit to my insta account, much appreciated. @LeonhardJPG

Because why not.
When I was creating the model, I originally wanted to do a Gorilla, like the time Astronaut Mark Kelly brought a suit onboard and chased people up and down the ISS. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the gorilla to work in LDD so I went with a ghost costume over one of the crewmates to pull a prank on the others.
Also I agree with you that the guy that won deserved it, his scene is AMAZING (way better than mine) and great job for him.
