These were great, back in the day, but I’m glad they finally made the solid 6x6. In clear.

Good ol’ Classic Space dishes.

The transparent ones were a little weird, but they were all cool.

Have you really built a spaceship if you don't use one of these?

Far calmer than the hyperbolic version.

@Harmonious_Building: I've built several MOC spaceships without it, but my favorite ship does use one for some greebling.

I always think of this as a satellite dish, but every satellite dish I've seen in reality is solid. Is there a hole-y version in reality, is that a thing?

@sir_vasco:
Back when satellite TV used a receiver dish the size of a hot tub, sure, there were some that were giant white bird baths, and there were some that were discreet black mesh affairs, so your eye would kinda pass over them instead of that being the only thing you’d notice about someone’s fancy yard. Just do an image search for “mesh satellite dish” and you’ll be able to see what they looked like. The mesh didn’t look anything like this, but some had supporting frames behind the mesh that was pretty close.

@sir_vasco: You weren't born in the twentieth century, were you?

I like the way mainly used as tyre alloys in Agents sets to add a bit of reflective colour.

@ThatBionicleGuy: The different mold number is because they can't use the same mold for transparent and opaque plastics, due to the plastics having different qualities.
