It looks like a slice of cupcake with headlights.

This was only added a month ago. It's from a summer 2022 Friends set and isn't even on Bricklink yet!

31 must be a record low?

Well it's the front of an ice cream truck, so I guess that's close enough!

Yup, I had just enough time to check that out before spending half an hour driving into a fiery sunset on the way to see Minions 2.

Funny, this mold is usually used for the top of a car or truck, not the front.

Yeah, kinda' figured 'ice cream truck':)

@PurpleDave: Good choice: good soundtrack, good story, good character growth, better than D.M.3:)

Minions was the first one that really hit the same level as DM1, so I wasn’t worried about M2. The soundtrack wasn’t really to my tastes, but it was period appropriate. But the kung fun training is some of the most hilarious material I’ve seen from the entire series (including the ten shorts).

The question is where they go from here (and if we’ll get more LEGO sets). DM3 clearly set up for a fourth movie, but they sidetracked into the Minions prequels. While the Minions were always the main comic relief, the girls were the heart of the first film. KSB proved Minions are capable of carrying that load as well, so who knows if DM4 will ever happen now.

@PurpleDave : Well... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7510222/

But w/M2, I hope it does well; at least better than 'Lightyear' (Pixar's mad 'cuz "the Big D" won't let 'em put stuff in theaters; M2 on the other hand's been delayed for about two years...). I think adding Otto to 'the mix' was a good move too (think he was w/'the new three' in DS3, w/KSB pushed to the background...wierdly...)...but yeah right: more sets:)

Dave and Stuart are the only two minions known to appear in all five films, but Dave’s appearance in M2 hasn’t been detailed yet. Otto is new to M2, as no Minion has been shown wearing braces before. I was thinking M1 came after DM3, for some reason, but I can’t remember if I’ve seen any previous film in the theater before, so waiting for TV debuts may have affected my first-time viewing order.

Pixar is right to be mad. Disney didn’t dump a single Disney Studio animated film to D-, but three Pixar films in a row got that treatment. I own copies of all three of those films, but still haven’t watched them (Onward and Lightyear are the last two I’ve seen). I also haven’t gone to see any of the Disney animated films since they started doing this. Now, consider this in light of the fact that without Frozen, Disney animation would still be playing second fiddle to Pixar, whose original head was tasked with saving the parent studio from oblivion following Disney’s purchase of Pixar. Pixar has been one of the most consistently successful studios of any type, until the pandemic forced Onward out of theaters, and the three films that got unceremoniously dumped to D- weren’t even treated as premium content. All three could be viewed with a basic subscription, where all Disney animation during that timeframe required a one-time rental if you didn’t want to wait several weeks.
